Intern, Marketing (TBL)
Position Summary:
The role of the Marketing intern is to support the Senior Marketing Manager and Wholesale Marketing team in researching, planning and execution of marketing proposals and programs for wholesale accounts across the Independent, Outdoor, Ecom, Department Store, Sneaker and Family Footwear channels.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support NAW team in the researching, planning and execution of marketing programs for Independent, Outdoor, Ecomm, Department Store, Sneaker and Family Footwear accounts. 20% of time involved and relative importance 5-Very High
• Use creative tools (Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator) to develop and design marketing materials (ex: web banners, social) to elevate brand awareness and drive sell-through at accounts in-store and online. 20% of time involved and relative importance 5-Very High
• Work cross-functionally with digital and social media teams to line up consistent storytelling across wholesale and Timberland retail each season, and provide communications to the field. 20% of time involved and relative importance 5-Very High
• Write creative briefs and manage projects with internal Creative Services team; coordinate product samples for photo shoots and events. 10% of time involved and relative importance 3 - Medium
• Assist in the tracking and measurement of co-op marketing programs, analyzing overall performance and conducting external and competitive research to validate investment. 10% of time involved and relative importance 3 - Medium
• Ideate and collaborate with internal and Field Service team on in-store events, GWPs and product fulfillment and programs. 10% of time involved and relative importance 3 - Medium
• Support the Wholesale Marketing team with administrative tasks, including invoices, sample management, office administration, seasonal reporting, and content management. 10% of time involved and relative importance 3 - Medium
Job Requirements:
• 0-2 years of related professional experience
• Bachelors Degree
• Computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Experienced in Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator, preferably on a Mac environment
• Savvy in social media; knowledge of digital marketing including search
• Detail oriented with strong organization, multi-tasking and communication skills
• Experience in retail is a plus
