Poshmark is looking for a rockstar Social Media Associate who is equally obsessed with Poshmark and social media. You will join the Community Marketing Team and focus on fully supporting and engaging with the Poshmark community, creating on-brand content for all of Poshmark’s social media channels, develop impactful marketing campaigns, and more! We are looking for creative, dedicated, and motivated individual who can understand and market all aspects of the Poshmark brand through social media.
Key Responsibilities Include
• Cross collaborate with various teams to put together social media campaigns that drive adoption, engagement and excitement whether for a product launch or community event
• Listen to, support, and engage with the Poshmark community on social media daily
• Directly engage with Poshmark’s social media followers and resolve real-time customer service questions on social media
• Gather, prioritize, and execute social media requests from internal teams; maintain social media editorial calendar
• Curate and schedule UGC on Instagram
• Create on-brand content for Poshmark’s social media channels (i.e. Instagram Story, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Snapchat)
• Develop and execute short and long term marketing campaigns
• Collecting and reporting core social KPIs
• Must be flexible to cover events, 25% travel required
The ideal Social Media Associate...
• Is a team player and jumps in wherever and whenever needed
• Has the ability to organize, prioritize and manage timelines
• Can create and produce engaging on-brand content (blog posts, live streams, images, gifs & videos)
• Willing to learn the ins and outs of the Poshmark community and how to support them
• Ability to think on your feet and handle all community issues with care and love
• Has strong work ethic and and can be flexible as needed - must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays - social media never sleeps
• Has the ability to think outside-the-box and react to wider events and trends
You own this if you have...
• 1+ years experience on a creative social media team at an e-commerce, advertising company, brand, or retailer
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, communication, or comparable field
• A love for Poshmark!
• Exceptional writing skills and the ability to quickly grasp and represent the brand and tone of an organization
• Flawless attention to detail
• Deep knowledge of platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat & Facebook as well as all other key platforms
• Proficiency in G Suite, Social Media scheduling tools, and Photoshop
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects and managing competing priorities
