This role will be responsible for the strategy, execution, analysis, and on-going optimization of the company’s online marketing programs. He/she will lead digital activities to drive awareness, new customer acquisition, retention and loyalty, engagement and revenue for the brand. This role is responsible for leading the planning and execution of digital marketing efforts, including email and direct response acquisition (SEM, PLAs, Paid Social, Affiliates, and SEO strategies) to grow traffic, revenue and new customers with a strong focus on ensuring best practice and innovation are incorporated. The candidate will aid in the management of agencies and third-party vendors, budgets, execution and reporting of their designated digital channels. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded and digital-savvy professional, with experience across paid digital media and 360 digital campaign management, and will thrive in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop, implement and manage all aspects of the company’s digital marketing strategy, with a focus on paid customer acquisition and retention
• Lead and manage digital channels including Email, SEO, SEM, Affiliate, Display, Social Advertising, Paid Video, Mobile
• Work closely with the E-Commerce team on pursuing various digital channels to drive website traffic; achieve a targeted ROI for all ad spend
• Manage multiple agencies and 3rd party resources to accelerate the Company’s digital goals
• Support and amplify larger brand initiatives with digital programs
• Develop online marketing strategies to drive qualified traffic to retail stores
• Partner with digital analytics team to establish insights rigor, forming actionable, scalable strategies to grow the online business.
• Build trust and maintain strong relationships with internal cross-functional partners, including creative and product teams
• Test progressive and innovative ideas to position the brand as a leader in the digital marketing arena
• Meet new customer, revenue, and margin goals, while managing an efficient budget
• Keep abreast of the latest digital industry trends, trends, and opportunities
Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree, MBA a plus
• Minimum 8 years digital, marketing, agency experience or relevant experience required
• Management experience required Proven track record in developing, implementing, and growing successful performance marketing media strategies
• Experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns
• Skilled at using data and metrics to provide actionable insights, as well as determine optimizations
• Ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally with creative, merchandising, and external agency teams
• Analytic and quantitative skills balanced with creativity and passion
• Strong oral and written communication skills
