Product Merchandising Assistant
Responsible for the support of the Professional League Jersey business unit that includes all aspects of product line and product life management for e-commerce, retail, customization, and wholesale.
Responsibilities
• Partners and supports the Product Managers with line planning, style set up and all aspects of product activation for e-commerce, retail and wholesale
• Expert on all aspects of product set up both internally and how it aligned with our cross matrixed partners
• Maintain the line-plan development and status updates
• Strong internal systems understanding for product set up and including connectivity across our matrix
• Ability to participate in systems or software training and update maintenance
• Supports approvals of style set up, artwork, product images, product descriptions, MSRP and/or Wholesales
• Supports the SOP creation and maintenance, as well as production calendar
• Provides regular communication to the relevant teams regarding line development, including changes or updates
• Coordinate with our Visual Merchandising Team (Product Admin) on calendar, range plans, sample or image tracking, and launch dates
• Proof all seasonal launch materials for correct information
• Supports communication to our internal and external partners in Operations with calendar, product deliveries, product marketing cheat sheets, and planning forecasts
Minimum Requirements
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Merchandising or related field
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Detail oriented and an ability to multitask
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Strong organizational skills. Ability to meet competing deadlines and time constraints, prioritize workload, and adapt to change
• Maintain composure under pressure. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards our team, our vendors, and our internal clients.
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Preferred Skills
• Experience in wholesale or retail a plus
• Understanding of U.S. and/or Global sports a plus
