Marketing Associate LM/AV
Description
Support the Marketing Manager in driving like door growth and increase awareness of the brands in Travel Retail Americas. Ensure excellence in execution at counter by following brand guidelines. Strong interaction with Marketing TRWW team to transform global strategies into successful regional plans. Propose regional opportunities by analyzing sales, trends, consumer insights and competition.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
PRODUCT ASSORTMENT
• Works with Marketing Manager for final forecast of non-saleable items.
• Creates, communicate internally with the team and follow up on Sell-in Report for new launches (saleable)
• Works closely with Marketing Manager, TRWW, Sales, Visual Merchandising and Education to correctly manage assortments by door.
• Update assortments to reflect inclusion, exclusion, and discontinuation or replacement codes for current and new doors.
• Collaborates with Finance to include newness codes to the retailer's system and price list.
• Update the Marketing calendars each season and provide copies to Sales and Education teams for proper distribution
• Oversees, summarizes and updates forecast recap database by brands by region updated on both the Lachen website and Marketing allocations drive for future allocations to team.
• Analyzes RDI & Supply Restriction List reports for monthly to support sales accurate planning and achievement
POINT OF SALES
• Ensures visuals and printed materials arrives to counter on time for any launch or campaign and communicate guidelines to the team.
• Liaises with regional counterparts to obtain existing advertising elements in other languages.
• Reviews, proofreads and approves printed materials such as print advertisement, inflight catalogues and in-store communication.
• Closely monitor visual and model rights expiration dates.
• Ensures brand guidelines are being followed on counter.
• Monitors and Evaluate campaign results and communicate feedback and learnings.
COLLATERAL MANAGEMENT
• Manages non-saleable and samples including all forecasts, strategies, allocations for the region by communicating back to New York Demand Planning and Sales Team ensuring strategy, gifting trend, promotions, HPPs and opportunities are considered.
• Oversees production of local collateral and print material ensuring all multi-language communication is met - contact different vendors for better price - follow-up on shipment and billing process of this material.
• Researches and oversees the development of promotional elements/tools production. Liaises between Sales Team, Marketing and Training Managers for proper organization of promotion events.
• Provides promo forms and tester forms to the sales team each season.
• Updates sample reconciliation file every month and shares with TRWW and Business Manager on time.
• Follows up on orders for all promotional material associated with the launch (non-saleable) to ensure excellence in execution.
• Works closely with sales team to ensure GWP optimization and qualifier determination.
• Tracks all marketing expenses versus budget and reconcile with Business Manager on a monthly basis.
• Analyzes monthly promo report (RDI) and work with VM and sales team to provide usage plan to avoid excess.
EVENTS AND PROMOTIONAL SPACES:
• Supports Visual Merchandising on in-store and out-of-store actions and events, to increase awareness and drive sales.
• Liaises with Commercial Team for the creation of concepts.
• Provides Creative Requests to TRWW for any assets needed for media plan, Special Events, SPPs and HPPs.
• Coordinates and execute on counter events with high standards, according to corporate guidelines that will increase brand awareness and sales, in cooperation with ASMs and partners.
• Prepares Pre and Post-event presentation, submit to TRWW with Budget and ROI.
• Assists with preparation of Sales Meeting. This includes: hotel reservations/food menu/presentations/room decoration/calendars/agendas/Marketing hand-outs.
•Assists Regional Educational Manager in Seasonal School organization.
DIGITAL AND CONSUMER ENGAGEMENT
• Supports the Marketing Manager in ensuring that digital campaigns are executed with excellence and on time.
• Leads operational execution of Marketing Communications Campaigns & Programs (Digital, Traditional and Inflight Advertising; as well as Social PR and Social Media activations)
• Leads tracking and reporting on Digital Communication Campaigns performance
• Partners with Digital Marketing team to support the aggregation and development of product content for retailers' social media platforms.
• Organizes and maintains a Digital and Social Media calendar, leveraging assets from Global Brand, with posts drafted and scheduled for future publication. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure promotional and social media activities are live according to calendar.
• Updates any video content on counter
SUPPORT BUDGET AND INVOICES
• Supports the planning of budgets (and its revisions)
• Monitors and maintain monthly reports accurately and on time.
• Manages invoices and shopping cart creation through SAP and maintain constant follow-up to ensure a timely payment submission.
• Monitors and track budgets related to all areas of assigned responsibility
• Reviews actuals on a monthly basis and reconcile with finance if necessary
MARKET INTELLIGENCE
• Monitors competitors, market share, initiatives and best practices. Highlight any opportunity.
• Prepares periodical reports on industry trends and main KPIs.
• Monitors market trends and consumer insight.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration.
• Minimum 3+ years of business experience preferably in marketing. Digital Marketing experience is a plus.
• Experience in Travel Retail, skincare or fragrance is a plus.
• Fully Bilingual-read, write and speak English and Spanish. Simplified Chinese is a plus
• Strong Computer knowledge of Windows; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Available to travel up to 20% of the time
