Overview
Anthropologie Home is seeking a savvy, interiors-obsessed member of their social team for a new role in the business. The Social Media Manager, Anthropologie Home works collaboratively with the Creative Editorial & Social Media Director, Creative Merchandising Manager, Marketing Manager and wider social media team to develop, set and maintain brand strategy, partnerships, and a robust calendar of content for Anthropologie Home. The Social Media Manager, Anthropologie Home, will develop innovative, best-in-business home content within all social media and content platforms with a focus on business results, brand awareness and new customer acquisition. They will look for strategic ways to tell the brands story through clever social media content and marketing campaigns that drive sales and promote Anthropologie Home to both current and prospective customers.
Responsibilities
IDEATION, PLANNING & EXECUTION
• Under direction of the Social Media Director, ideate and execute daily home creative content across still image, moving image and video for all visual social platforms (prioritizing Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook), ensuring that all assets and messaging align with marketing goals and themes.
• Source, plan and maintain inspiring imagery for Pinterest boards with a focus on brand imagery that can link back to product stories and engage her during the top-funnel planning phase.
CONTENT & INFLUENCER MARKETING
• Ideate and spearhead innovative brand and influencer collaborations with the aim of reaching new followers, customers and boosting brand equity.
• Partner with Editorial, Marketing and Social teams to plan weekly brand storytelling and mini social campaigns across key platforms based on the monthly marketing brief.
• Develop and maintain relationships with home influencers, chefs, hosts, and a stable of freelancers across copy, video and photography to strengthen Anthropologie Home storytelling and content platforms.
• Work with marketing to identify key home markets and develop exciting strategies for results-driven local marketing such as influencer partnerships and events.
SEO-SAVVY CONTENT DEVELOPMENT
• Partner with the Creative Editorial and Social Media Director and Senior Digital Designer, Social Media, to develop the best SEO-friendly and social-led interiors content (photo and video) in the market, including but not limited to: Influencer programs, market trends, sponsored partner content, How-to tutorials and DIYs, and more.
• Work closely with merchandising to tell the right stories at the right times, leveraging best sellers in order to ensure focus on the most appropriate product and stories, driving sales through social media.
Qualifications
• 3+ years experience in photography, video, and social media
• Keen editing skills across image and video
• Proficient in Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign, After Effects,
• An understanding of photo organization and editing via Capture One, Bridge
• An excellent ideas person, happy collaborator and communicator.
• A good understanding of home market trends and competitors is ideal
• Culturally relevant, with a highly-developed interest in interior design, fashion, art, and photography as it relates to the Anthropologie customer.
• Ability to work on a variety of projects at one time.
• Ability to build relationships and work with a variety of coworkers across multiple teams.
• Passionate about culture, branding, and the space in which they intersect.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field.
