Job Summary The Marketing Operations Coordinator will coordinate and execute the packaging of marketing plans, programs and creative assets that support the marketing process to effectively deliver against global and regional needs in the seasonal Go To Market process. Reporting to the Marketing Operations Manager the individual will collaborate on driving the gathering of strategic and tactical seasonal brand and product priorities from product, marketing, giving and sales needed to deliver milestone touch points with global regions and channels for informing and socializing. Additionally, the individual assists in gathering marketing data and budget reporting.
Essential Responsibilities
• Communicates and updates marketing department priorities such as Global Monthly Snapshots, multi-season deadlines & timelines, GTM meeting dates, Brand Conference presentations, Digital Global Brand Calendar updates, creative asset reviews internally and externally, seasonal asset delivery status.
• Coordinates seasonal marketing creative asset needs by regions (Americas, APAC, EMEA) and channels (Wholesale, E-comm, Retail). Manages global master asset list from creation to execution within the seasonal Go To Market process and timeline milestone dates.
• Works cross-functionally with creative and traffic teams, and project management system to oversee marketing projects workflow and distribution. Assists with submissions of creative assets into the software system “WorkFront’ to the marketing creative team and publishes to regions in a Digital Asset Management System – Webdam.
• Connects with Marketing Operations Manager to gather seasonal marketing strategies from Brand, Product Marketing, Marketing Communications, Regional Marketing Leads, and Giving to build milestone touchpoint presentations in the GTM process.
• Participates in ongoing marketing operation process improvements with calendars, timelines, budgets, process.
• Works with Global Marketing to gather and publish key initiative metrics and success parameters for key marketing programs and initiatives.
• Assists in budget reconciling and reporting for global marketing department
Requirements and Qualifications
• Strong marketing background for a brand – preferable in the fashion footwear industry- plus desirable multi-channel retail marketing experience at Direct to Consumer and wholesale.
• Proven Project Management skills driving from inception to execution communicating and delivering against milestones along the way.
• Detail oriented, organized and confident in facilitating the gathering of detailed asset needs and sizes from marketing function leaders and building excel files to capture needs.
• Intermediate level Excel® skills, and PowerPoint deck creation ability, excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, work positively and productively with cross-functional teams, strong detail orientation and analytical skill, capacity for ambiguity and fast paced environment.
• Entrepreneurial and high energy with ability to manage multiple competing priorities and tasks.
• Three or more years of brand marketing experience in footwear fashion industry and multi-channel marketing.
Education and Experience
• Four-year degree in marketing or equivalent real-world experience in marketing, sales, PR or any highly analytical field.
• Experience in a Digital Asset Management System (DAM).
• Knowledge of Gen Z and Millennial customers and trends in footwear fashion industry.
• Knowledge marketing platforms- windows, homepage, OOH, e-mail, social, in-store signs, point of purchase displays, etc.
