Responsibilities
Primary Purpose:
kate spade new york is looking for an experienced, goal-oriented, digital marketing professional to contribute to managing performance marketing channels including paid social and programmatic display advertising. A successful media associate will be responsible for working with the Senior Manager to set the strategy, day-to-day management, and successful execution of these channels. The media associate will work directly with the Senior Marketing Manager to implement the overall strategy to drive sales and increase ROI. This role will be instrumental in building a best-in-class marketing strategy across paid social media and programmatic display that drives demand and fuels new customer growth. This position works with the Senior Manager to manage all aspects of these channels as it relates to performance marketing, including working collaboratively across internal teams (brand marketing, site, creative, and IT teams) and external teams (marketing agencies, vendors, partners) to execute.

• Act as subject matter expert for all things paid social and programmatic display by collaborating with the Senior Manager to lead strategy development, campaign management, testing, and execution
• Support the Sr. Manager in creating and implementing acquisition marketing strategy in support of katespade.com and other owned properties
• Ensure flawless execution of performance marketing activities across paid social and programmatic display with a strong focus on driving revenue and new customer acquisition as well as tracking the marketing budget on a day-to-day basis
• Act as a liaison with external vendors and agencies to proactively keep ahead of timelines, deliverables, and communications
• Own the process of briefing and approving creative assets through the creative team
• Partner closely with the CRM team to ensure a 1:1 customer communication for highly targeted campaigns in these channels, including the management of lists within the platforms
• Liaise and collaborate with the digital brand marketing team to enable full funnel campaigns across the paid social and programmatic display channels
• Create and maintain daily, weekly and monthly reporting framework to monitor campaign budgets and deep-dive into performance
• Analyze campaigns and translate qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the campaigns and push agency to make optimizations to improve KPIs on an ongoing basis
• Look for new, innovative opportunities to drive traffic and revenue by meeting and vetting new vendors and partners
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings to contribute digital innovative ideas and communicate digital campaign strategies for all launches and promotional activity
• Understand the digital competitive arena. Bring new ideas to the table based on competitive review of the digital and online marketplace as well as following industry news.
• Qualifications
The accomplished individual will possess...
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 2+ years of specialized experience and expertise within paid social media and/or programmatic display, ideally with a recognized brand in retail/fashion or at an agency
• Experience and passion in performance marketing with knowledge of data-driven decisions and implementing paid social and display growth strategies based on establishing efficiency at scale
• Expertise in standard industry reporting and diagnostic tools (Facebook Power Editor, Google Analytics), and ad-serving and bid management technologies (Google Display Network, etc.)
• Working business knowledge of product feed management, troubleshooting, data feeds, etc.
• Facebook Blueprint Certification/Google Display Advertising Certification preferred
• Direct to consumer e-commerce experience is highly preferred
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMif statements, etc.)
