REPORTS TO: District Brand Leader
OVERVIEW
The Store Brand Leader will lead and inspire by taking an Omni channel approach to the retail experience. The goal is to deliver a unique, community-driven and entrepreneurial store by taking a forward-thinking approach to the customer experience, in-store creative marketing, merchandising, activations, and leadership to drive sales and customer engagement.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership & Team Management
• Recruit, Hire and Promote
Continuously talent plan to build a strong internal bench, maintain a network of great candidates, and hire exceptional people.
• Develop & Train
Use creative strategies to develop personalized training plans that build skills and expertise. Foster a culture of problem solvers and people that take action
• Inspire & Motivate
Inspire teams through empowerment, creativity, empathy, and shared fate. Tailor motivation to the individual and leverage the strengths of the team.
Brand Experience
• Customer Engagement
Focus on ensuring teams deliver exceptional customer experiences that are efficient, engaging, and personalized. Create a compelling atmosphere for our customer through the use of merchandising and display.
• Retail Experience
Elevate every aspect of the brick and mortar experience as brand and Omni channel capabilities expand. Translate good ideas into actionable concepts that can be shared.
• Digital Experience
Leverage localized digital marketing efforts to engage our customer in new ways. Drive brick and mortar brand awareness through Local Social Media accounts, shoppable store pages and assortments, in-store pickup, and digital-first merchandising opportunities that reflect the evolution of the retail environment.
• Community & Culture
Connect with the local community through in-store events to drive brand awareness, community culture, and customer engagement with our retail space and products.
Visual & Business Operations
• Analyze the Business
Analyze sales and product to identify and interpret business opportunities for each store and market.
• Inspire Independent Thinking
Effectively delegate and guide teams while at the same time allowing others the creativity to succeed by making strategic business decisions.
• Change & Innovation
Take a forward-thinking approach to in-store creative marketing, merchandising, activations, customer experience, and supporting leadership teams to drive sales and engage our customer.
• Manage Operational & Visual Execution
Collaborate with store team and key partners to lead timely and effective execution in all areas of store operations and visuals while assuming accountability for the store’s performance and profitability.
Communication & Relationships
• Communication & Collaboration
Foster a culture of strong communication and teamwork to ensure a seamless balance of operational and visual priorities and facilitate problem solving.
• Leadership & Feedback
Inspire independent thought, action, and brand ownership to drive sales. Integrate observations and key performance metrics to guide teams in making business decisions.
• Digital Communication
Work with new systems of communication to share ideas and information from a distance and communicate with multiple stores and teams at once. Utilize this to build community within the team and create an empathetic shared experience between Home Office and the field.
• Knowledge & Information Dissemination
Encourage: innovation through dissemination of knowledge, a culture of peers teaching peers, and enabling easy access to information.
