Global Product Marketing Strategy Coordinator: Become the Newest Member of the Vans Family
As part of the Global Marketing Team you will be a key player in ensuring that Vans Marketing continues to deliver best in class product marketing. With your expertise in marketing, you will assist in writing creative briefs and leverage consumer insights to create compelling product marketing stories across footwear and apparel globally.

How You Will Make a Difference:
Key initiatives tracking, reporting (OGSTM)
• You will create, coordinate and maintain key global product marketing initiatives tracking and reporting.
Sample coordination and management
• You will attend footwear and apparel line reviews.
• You will keep track of updated seasonal merchandising line plans.
• Ordering seasonal SMS samples; managing dedicated budget for SMS orders
• Receiving, organizing, cataloging, and storing seasonal SMS samples in the Vans warehouse; daily inventory management
• Coordinating samples from footwear and apparel for seasonal photo shoots
• Assisting producers at photo shoots for sample management and insuring proper product guidance to production teams
Creative development
• You will provide marketing input for seasonal catalogs
• Assist with global marketing copywriting
Seasonal campaign execution support
• Partnering with PR team for production and fulfillment of seasonal seeding kits for key global stories
• Coordinating with regional teams for seeding execution
Global product marketing administrative duties
• Attendance at bi-weekly team meetings for minutes taking and distribution
• Attendance on all global calls with regional teams for minutes taking and distribution
• Supporting competitive research, developing case studies
• Partner with Marketing Operations Coordinator on creation, maintenance and communication of internal Global Product Marketing calendar
• Ensure expense reports are completed
Skills for Success:
Years of Related Professional Experience: 3+ years
Educational/ Position Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred and/or a minimum of 3 years in general Marketing or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Experience working in the Outdoor and Action Sports industry a plus.
Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
• Travel by air and overnight, as required 15% of time.
• Lifting and/or bending 30 lbs. of weight.
