Overview
The goal of this Planning function is to set up all relevant processes and drive the business (Revenue, EBIT) through strategic merchandise planning, controlled inventory management, actionable reporting and insightful commercial analysis. We achieve this by creating a world class, digitally enabled integrated end to end planning team, which is commercial, connects well cross functionally and delivers efficient merchandise processes.
The Director of Global Pricing / Reportingat Tory Burch is responsible for supporting the Global Merchant team with the development of the Global Pricing Strategy across all regions. This includes the constant review and development of our pricing strategy and analysis function. This role will build a pricing structure to analyze productivity of various merchandising strategies across multiple categories and will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide intelligence for decisions regarding pricing strategies for initial and markdown pricing. Further, this function will lead all responsibilities related to master data management related o materials (style/color).
Responsibilities
• Measure the effectiveness of pricing strategies and programs, identify revenue and/or margin opportunities and make recommendations to senior management.
• Incorporate FX process / recommendations about global pricing strategy prior to market
• Create reporting and tracking tools that provide visibility into past and future price adjustments.
• Collaborate with merchandising teams to identify underperforming items or categories and recommend pricing strategy.
• Manager Global Markdown process, analyze markdowns and clearance cadence. Develop performance targets, monitor inventory ownership, sales performance and make recommendations for end-of-life merchandise programs.
• Analyze the competitive landscape with respect to product offerings, pricing, promotional offers, etc. and build tools to monitor competition.
• Develop and implement user-friendly analytics dashboards and tools that perform complex analysis manipulating large data sets to identify actionable business insights.
• Perform profitability analyses and evaluating return on investment for various product lines and new initiatives.
• Manage global markdown process including communication in regards to discount / days.
• Develop, communicate, maintain and update pricing policies, processes, and procedures.
• Ad hoc project work related to product pricing.
• Management of Discontinue Month/year and carry over flag,
• Manage Product Attribution for reporting / analytics and ensure consistency across categories
People Development
• Ensure high performance standards thru Coaching, training, and development. Perform ongoing talent assessments.
• Provide Leadership and guidance. Develop team members skills and insure goals are achieved

Qualifications
• Strong business acumen, as well as strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Possess the ability to navigate and manipulate large data sets to identify trends.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated individual who can work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in finance, business intelligence or related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in pricing strategy, analytics, statistics, financial modeling, and/or data interpretation in a specialty retail environment.
