GENERAL FUNCTION
The Marketing Manager establishes and executes a comprehensive integrated marketing strategy for our national and regional health insurance partners. The Marketing Manager owns the marketing relationship between EyeMed and key strategic nationwide health insurance partners to build our Powered by EyeMed brand within their vision identity, help partners develop in-market messaging and marketing strategies, and grow their vision products for multiple products (including commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid). The Marketing Manager serves as the marketing point of contact for our partners – working directly with our account management team and our strategic partners’ marketing and sales teams to help position them for success to achieve desired co-marketing objectives.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develops, leads and executes integrated sales and marketing strategies and plans for numerous key strategic nationwide and regional health insurance partners.
• Serves as the primary marketing point of contact for numerous key strategic nationwide and regional health insurance partners, working directly with our internal team and our account management team to deliver on objectives for each partner
• Establishes, executes and manages strategic, integrated B2B (business-to-business) marketing programs in coordination with our EyeMed account management team and our strategic nationwide and regional health insurance partners.
• Works directly with EyeMed account management team and our strategic nationwide and regional health insurance partners to assure marketing programs and strategies expand our brands, are implemented within project deadlines and budgets, and achieve desired key performance indicators.
• Leads marketing B2B and insurance member asset development for our partners, including development of (but are not limited to) print advertising, digital advertising, conferences/events, collateral, videos, sales tools, web content, email, research, social media, etc.
• Builds assets for diverse insurance products, including commercial (employer group) insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid as examples.
• Drives to consistently improve the performance of integrated programs and identifies enhancement opportunities to grow awareness, consideration, recommendation and, ultimately sales for strategic insurance partners’ commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid business lines.
• Works and coordinates with strategic insurance partners (other insurance organizations), with full-service agencies and cross functionally across sales, account management, legal and strategy and product teams.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
• 5+ years of marketing, advertising or communications experience
• Demonstrated success in problem solving, collaboration and communication
• Demonstrated history of building out and managing to key performance indicators
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify/address problems, and meet deadlines
• Effective at delivering results in a highly matrixed organization
• Effective at partnering and developing relationships with key internal/external stakeholders
• Strong written and oral communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Benefits, insurance or healthcare industry experience
• Proven background in B2B sales and marketing
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce and Salesforce applications
• Experience developing and building external partnerships
