Position: Regional Sales Director- La Roche Posay/ CeraVe
Reports to: Field Sales, V.P.
Location: Must reside in Florida
Summary:
The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for coaching, managing and developing a team of 8-12 medical detailing sales representatives within the designated region. Their key objective will be to influence dispending and non dispending dermatologists in referring patients to the brand’s products. Implement the medical detailing strategy to deliver and meet sales results within the designated territory.
Responsibilities
Ø Recruit, hire, coach, develop and maintain a high quality medical detailing team
Ø Consistently provide in field support to all direct reports, spend 4 days in field and optimize routing on a six week rotation.
Ø Ensure all team members are meeting and exceeding expectations, take corrective action when needed and conduct periodic updates and performance reviews with team members.
Ø Develop strong relationships with key opinion leaders and top 25 dispensing dermatologists in region.
Ø Demonstrate proficiency in understanding and presenting clinical sales materials and convey understanding to team members through modeling and coaching.
Ø Provide market – level intel and updates to management
Ø Evaluate coverage needs within the region, make proposals on realignments to Field Sales VP
Ø Work with AVP T&D to ensure timely delivery of selling skills, product technology and skin physiology.
Ø Work with AVP T&D for input into the development of collateral and medical detailing materials
Ø Effectively manage T&E and allocated funds
Ø Ensure full implementation of sales and marketing strategies
Ø Consistently achieve all stated sales goals, overall quotas new product launch targets and promotional objectives.
Required Competencies:

Ø Flexibility and adaptability in an newly developed and evolving business environment
Ø Set up action plan based on quality/quantity criteria (activity, target coverage, specific actions, follow-up)
Ø Ability to communicate scientific information in a clear and concise manner
Ø Creative thinker: develop innovative ways to engage a dermatologists interest and solve problems.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 5 years experience in management / leadership capacity overseeing a medical detailing team, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment
Proven ability in building professional relationships, strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must be able to travel (4 days per week) and attend medical meetings
Dermatology experience preferred, but not required
