Director, Global Education, Tom Ford Beauty
Description
Drives conceptualization, initiation and development of new Global Education content, programs and materials targeted to the business needs of Tom Ford Beauty
We are looking for a passionate education expert, strategist and digital pro to lead the creation of differentiated and compelling digital education content that ignites passion for Tom Ford Beauty and drives sales worldwide. The Director of Education will oversee content development by channel (ex: videos, training programs/platforms), and audience strategies in order to deliver brand business objectives.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
•Develop the education content strategy establishing global consistency, taking into account local market needs and channel specific needs; ensure programs and formats are results-driven, and interactive
•Oversee digital content development, delivery tools and execution. Ideate, develop and contribute to 360 activation plans to articulate brand and product storytelling, product innovation, artistry and client service
•Support consumer marketing, Omni channel and PR teams in digital consumer education from augmented reality to how-to videos.
•Strategize and ensure excellence in execution within all training programs and initiatives.
•Partner with the Global Product Marketing, Research and Development, Instructional Design and Digital teams to assist in the effective execution of training initiatives for all education channels
•Work with cross-functional departments to develop and reinforce KPIs and continuously communicate opportunities for hero’s and big bets.
•Develop strategic global education programs that translate brand insights into meaningful, on-brand education initiatives; ensure that market-specific and cultural needs are met within programs
•Identify and prioritize learning needs of specific retailer employee segments to create training solutions to enhance brand and product passion
•Train Field Sales Teams on product knowledge, advanced skincare application techniques, and selling behaviors, functioning as a resource and leader, providing product and sales expertise
•Partner with Global Education & Events team in development of Sales & Education Conferences and meetings.
•Lead, develop and motivate a Global Digital Education Manager.
•Stay current with technology and digital trends within the cosmetic education environment.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related business experience; a minimum of 5 years in the Beauty or Retail industry required.
•Proven ability and command of adult learning concepts (i.e. experiential learning) experience building brand and product training curriculum and the ability to create impactful and memorable training experiences.
•Excellent project management skills, ability to deliver multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities and meet competing deadlines; maintain creative and active problem solving to drive on time and quality delivery for all projects and partner with various levels in the organization
•Effective communicator, strong relationship-building skills and proven record of cross-functional partnerships
•Thrives in an environment that is fast-paced, rapidly changing and able to handle multiple priorities while meeting objectives, work well under pressure
•Proficient in Digital Education, Social media and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word and Articulate is optional).
