Associate, Global Product Marketing, Tory Burch, ADF
PRINCIPLE OBJECTIVE
Be an integral part of the team to develop successful new innovation and support programs for one of the largest fragrance businesses within the Estee Lauder Companies. The Associate filling this high visibility role would manage all executional aspects of product/program development from concept to final delivery and consistently deliver successful products/programs on time and on budget.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
•Initiate development and execution of new product innovation, marketing strategy and seasonal promotional programs. Work closely with Manager to prepare project and creative briefs to guide new program development.
•Drive program development from start to finish including initiation in internal systems and clearly communicating project details and objectives to all support groups
•Collaborate with cross-functional partners (creative, packaging, purchasing) to ensure projects are moving forward in a timely manner and meeting cost objectives
•Lead gift with purchase and gift set development working closely with the creative team
•Prepare cost objectives for new and seasonal programs and ensure cost targets are met. Work closely with packaging and creative teams to find most cost efficient method of developing programs.
•Prepare materials for biannual forecast offerings and monitor market feedback to ensure program viability
•Act as key point person for brand performance - shipments, sell-thru, cost of goods, sku count, pricing and new product forecasts.
•Track relevant trends across the fragrance/beauty industry and related categories. Prepare competitive brand review including product, marketing strategy and pricing analysis.
•Initiate all copy, translations and artwork. Reviews artwork for accuracy and track to ensure all key dates are met.
•Organize presentation materials for regional marketing meetings and retailer presentations by coordinating with local markets and vendors
•Maintains notes for bi-weekly internal development meetings and updates marketing calendars
Qualifications
•Position requires 2+ years related experience in Fragrance/Beauty
•Must be accountable, organized and detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects
•Demonstrates ownership of programs; embraces both big picture objectives and follows-through on details
•Must possess exceptional oral and written communication skills
•Strong analytical, creative and excellent computer skills are a must
•Must be flexible, determined and a collaborative team player
•Have the ability to build, foster and nurture strong relationships and gain the respect of members of the cross-functional and affiliate teams
