Description
Position Summary:
Create and edit digital content to bring video, sound and motion graphics together in order to tell a cohesive story. Edit a range of content formats utilizing technical and aesthetic skills that support the strategic objectives of Aveda.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with project managers to understand digital needs and recommend fresh and original visual solutions through video.
Organize, edit and color correct footage and optimize audio to create compelling video content.
Design and create compelling motion graphics and video for show, events and instructional purposes, including creating graphic elements that make technical topics engaging.
Assist the Global Education Show Team in the concept, design and production of stage graphics, including assisting on site with collateral set up, A/V support, editing presentations and running stage graphics.
Function as video shooter and/or editor on select projects as directed.
Move and assemble camera and lighting equipment as needed at shoots.
Continually maintain knowledge of social media platforms and how to best utilize them for video.
Edit video within tight time frames utilizing knowledge of digital/social formats.
Optimize audio and voice-over for final delivery.
Take the lead role on smaller video projects; including on site video capture and editing.
Set the example of exceptional video standards and possess a collaborative attitude and a drive to do breakthrough work.

Bachelor's Degree
Experience:
2 years
Others:
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Experience with both PC and Macs
• Knowledge of video codecs, raw codecs, file compression, transcoding, file organization, setting up projects and sequences, syncing video and audio, multi-camera editing, Lumetri color tools, and different editing techniques
• Detail oriented and organized
• Strong Communication skills
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work corroboratively with project leaders and internal departments
•Strong videography skills and experience using DSLRs and mirrorless Cameras a plus
