Description
Director Quality Process Improvement is responsible for working with cross-functional stakeholders in the development and refinement of global processes, procedures & tools for product categories in manufacturing quality, with direction given by Global Practice Area leads. Position drives the implementation of these new processes and continuous improvements at the sites with cross-functional collaboration with Quality Engineers, ME and CI teams.
Identify and Define Global Processes (30%)
• Collect expectations and requirements for core manufacturing quality processes with relevant functions to determine where global processes are noting meeting business needs
• Develop global quality manufacturing framework, processes, procedures and tools in line with stakeholder requirements
Drive Implementation of Global Process Improvements (50%)
• Evaluate risks and define action plans related to global process implementation by working with regional / site leads
• Project manage the implementation of processes at site level in close collaboration with cross functional teams
• Provide training to local Quality and Operations in collaboration with site and COE training teams
Establish and Manage Continuous Improvement Processes (20%)
• Incorporate best practices globally, where appropriate, by driving continuous improvement of quality processes
• Implement lean/continuous improvement practices at the manufacturing sites with a focus on Quality and process control in close collaboration with Quality Engineers, CI and ME functions
• Conduct routine reviews with the VP/Regional Quality Leads and adapt processes, as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree
8 years of experience
30% Travel
Experience in Fast Paced Consumer Goods manufacturing environment a plus (Cosmetic, Food, or Pharma)
Good knowledge of Continuous Improvement and Lean methodology
Ability to conduct and train on risk assessment
Ability to conduct and train on root cause analysis and investigation
Strong in data & analytics, statistics and process control
Strong in project management
Excellent relationship manager, influencer and communicator
Strong technical writing skills
Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to appropriately communicate information to cross functional stakeholders
Ability to write and review SOPs
Computer skills such as Microsoft Office, SAP
Strong knowledge of ISO certification preferred
