Description
Director Quality Business Intelligence is responsible for development and maintenance of KPI frameworks, dashboards and processes to support strategic and operational decision-making. Will also provide research & analysis into best practices, consumer intelligence and industry, category and product benchmarking. Support QALT, Quality Process Improvement Directors and Quality Engineers with trend analysis and identification of improvement opportunities.
KPI Framework Development & Maintenance (40%)
• Collect requirements for the KPI framework across Quality on a global, regional, and site level in line with define quality strategy and external requirements (e.g. from the FDA)
• Assess data availability across all Quality (R&D QA, Brand QA, Compliance, sites/regions, etc.)
• Develop easy-to-use / automated KPI frameworks/dashboards and reports to support business decision making by working close with the Manager Quality Tools & Technology
• Support technology and data projects, as needed
• Define the KPI reporting process incl. review cadence and responsibilities for data provision and consolidation
• Define the approval process for any adjustments to the KPI framework
• Identify the need to track additional KPIs at the site level by working with Site Leads
• Define the approach for cascading the Quality KPIs to individual goals and define incentive schemes with HR
KPI Analysis (40%)
• Analyze KPIs to identify trends, summarize performance and provide other insight to inform Quality strategy
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities through analysis of KPIs and other data to support all Quality (R&D QA, Brand QA, Compliance, sites/regions, etc.)
External Benchmarking, Best Practices & Consumer Intelligence (20%)
• Conduct research and analysis into what is occurring externally to ELC (industry, category, products), including benchmarking of other companies, capturing of best practices and consumer intelligence
• Map internal and external stakeholders against benchmarks and best practices
• Provide input into strategic plans based on findings from competitor benchmarking, best practices and consumer intelligence
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
8+ years of technical experience
10% Travel
Expertise in the development and automation of dashboards to support decision making
Expertise in data analytics (GCC, GQMS, Site, etc.)
Expertise in mining data for quality insights for product and process improvement opportunities
Expertise in industry, category or product benchmarking
Proficient in assessing the impact to Quality model and translate to meaningful KPI
Proficient in setting appropriate KPIs for driving key behaviors
Knowledge and experience of end-to-end supply chain
Collaborate with both internal and external organizations
