Company Fall 2018 Internship Program

Interns are placed in key departments and work closely with a dedicated team who provide mentorship and support while educating them on the aspects of our business that are unique to that department.
Our program is designed to provide real life business experience that enhances academic learning. We offer the opportunity to learn about our business from the inside, to network with industry executives and to gain invaluable insight through challenging projects.
The diversity of our operations has recently created an opportunity for an Public Relations Internlocated at our New York offices.
GOALS OF INTERNSHIP:
• An understanding of Brooks Brothers event strategy and key partnerships
• The ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Communication skills gleaned from interacting with the PR team, store managers and associates, and vendors
• Strong organizational and administrative skills through multiple projects
Accountabilities:
• Help maintain the events calendar and schedule of all events
• Assist with processing all donation requests, and track store, charity and sponsorship requests
• Assist with donation merchandise and shipping - Help with the shipping of all event collateral
• Onsite event support
• Processing all event invoices once approved and maintaining a spreadsheet with all expenditures - Select administration tasks
Skills/Requirements
Skills & Technical Proficiencies Preferred:
• Candidate must be a current student enrolled in the process of seeking a degree
• Public Relations
• Communications
• Event Planning
• Strong organizational skills and an acute attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and problem-solve
• Understanding of the fashion retail industry
