VP Marketing (Oakley)

GENERAL FUNCTION
The Oakley Marketing VP is responsible for leading the marketing efforts within the North America business. This role will be responsible for the strategic conceptualization and to develop, prioritize and lead the execution of marketing strategies to support the overall Oakley brand (both wholesale and retail channel). The Oakley Marketing VP will ensure alignment with Marketing (Global Brand & Sports Marketing), Wholesale and Retail, creating a consistent brand experience in every channel of the business.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develops a brand equity strategy and program to elevate the Brand to a new level and engages consumer's heart and mind.
• Work closely with the global marketing team for marketing initiative, plans and content
• Ensure Brand alignment across channel
• Communicate and share a clear marketing plan and strategies that support all business verticals and revenue targets with the Oakley North America team members and all executive and senior management team, ensuring key stakeholders have the right information at the right time
• Create efficient systems to communicate key product and brand messages at the right time, with the right frequency, to the North America market
• Champion new ideas and initiatives that are consistent with the brand identity of innovation and design.
• Develop and implement storytelling initiatives that increase traffic, conversion rate, average transaction value and sales across the multiple channels of business.
• Influence communication and strategy between Ecommerce, retail and wholesale to build effective consumer communication campaigns and to increase conversions, new customer acquisition, and retention.
• Work closely with the product management team to provide marketing assets & materials to meet their commercial objectives
• Deliver marketing programs and initiatives which drive traffic to our accounts, increase overall engagement and brand affinity
• Understand the nuanced elements of the Oakley brand, product and service offerings to ensure they are effectively and accurately reflected in all marketing campaigns, initiatives and programs
• Manage and lead Retail and Wholesale marketing team
• Consistently conduct analysis of the competitive market and consumer trends
• Accountable in managing the overall marketing budget and liable for all marketing investments
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Merchandising or related field
• 15+ years of marketing experience
• 10+ years of practical experience in Marketing Management from a commercial, retail and e-commerce environment
• Demonstrates logical analysis and problem solving skills
• Excellent project management, time management, organizational, and communication skills
• Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
• Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
• Ability to work and influence a variety of groups, internal and external
• Working knowledge of various marketing techniques and processes
