The Quality Assurance Analyst will receive, review, and manipulate data related to Benefit Quality Assurance. The Analyst will search for trends within the data and prepare reports or presentations detailing the findings and proposed actions. The Analyst will communicate with internal teams to share trends, and will communicate externally with vendors and Benefit personnel in various markets to provide quality data.
Basic Duties and Responsibilities:
• Receive monthly incoming inspection data from vendors and create and maintain a package supplier scorecard based on the number and size of deliveries accepted or rejected at filling suppliers
• Review reject rate in key APAC markets from customer and counter, developing “Top 10” issue tracking sheet to be reviewed by Operations Management monthly.
• Investigate trends in reject rates in APAC and work with Associate Director of QA to apply proper corrective actions at filling suppliers as necessary
• Maintain existing database CofA values for Indonesia FDA including microbiology and heavy metal test results
◦ Work with the QA Product Lab to send out all new formulas for confirmatory testing
• Maintain existing recycling report of packaging materials by adding new packaging and components to the sheet by project file
◦ Work with Packaging Department to receive technical drawings and proofs with component materials and weights listed to ensure accuracy
• Assist in non-conformance reporting, review, and tracking (including frequency of NCRs for the same issue as well as CAPA implementation)
• Assist in execution of other QA directives, for example: master shipper sizing strategies, MSDS file updating, OTC file management, supplier improvement program
• All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Ability to effectively communicate ideas, concepts and procedures to other employees within the organization
• Ability to set own priorities and work independently and effectively in a team environment
• Detail oriented, excellent follow through, and organized with the ability to multi-task
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Prior experience and strong interest in working in Quality Assurance or related field
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Ability to prioritize work and multiple projects to meet monthly deadlines
