Responsibilities
• Expand brand awareness and increase visibility for kate spade new york by supporting team on innovative initiatives that reach beyond our existing visibility.
• Support aligning international agencies to create and execute a collective year-long strategy, including events, to increase brand awareness.
• Improve overall communication with all teams resulting in increased coverage and visibility.
• Support on all aspects of brand visibility, including but not limited to: product placement, internal presentation, external presentation, all events, media alerts, celebrity placements and partnerships.
• Help manage key partner relationships.
• Help identify aspirational celebrities and digital influencers that broaden the perception of kate spade new york.
• Seed product that will encourage these target partners to organically and authentically support the brand’s lifestyle position.
• Liaise with Global PR agencies
• Coordinate international sample trafficking across 20+ markets
• Manage sample orders and inventory including the International PR Sample Set
• Support VIP efforts including dressing opportunities and asset sharing
• Track long-lead and short-lead placements across 20+ markets
• Maintain press archive
• Support proactive outreach on the brand and seasonal collections
• Manage and facilitate all hi-res image requests
• Provide credit information for editorials
• Oversee master media list and Fashion GPS
• Manage and Update PR toolbox
• Draft PR documents including Spotted! and the monthly press report
• Support special projects and events in international markets
• Lead special projects + event recaps & global reporting documents
• Manage seasonal gifting initiatives
• Support New York Fashion Week Presentations
• Support the execution of Internal Seasonal Presentations
• Support invoice needs
Qualifications
• minimum one to three years public relations experience in the fashion and/or creative industries
• strong written and verbal communication skills
• strong understanding of brand aesthetics and market place
• detail oriented proactive ability to multi task and prioritize
• college degree preferred
