MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Director of Sales Information manages support functions essential for the Coty Sales Team successful execution of corporate objectives across the entire brand portfolio.
These include business planning, forecasting, reporting, sales presentation materials, item information, and sales communication.
Reporting to the Vice President of Customer Marketing, this position works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure deliverables are provided in an timely and accurate manner, and in adherence to the Coty commercial timelines.
The Director of Sales Information is also directly responsible for Coty’s corporate presence at various industry trade shows, to include activities, such as, retailer meeting preparation and execution, brand sponsorships, and overall logistics.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Management and development of team members, educating, coaching and mentoring, to provide career advancement within Coty.
• Project Manager of high profile executive industry trade conferences; efficiently planning and successfully executing these events, while staying within assigned budget
• Oversees the management of the business planning process, to include forecasting systems (IP), allocation approvals and daily/weekly/monthly sales analysis reporting.
• Active involvement in the quarterly revenue recognition process and deferral analysis collaborating with supply chain, customer service, demand planning, and finance to ensure corporate financial objectives are met.
• Owns the Sales Information budget line items: sales sample production, industry conferences, third party data support; ensuring that all costs are carefully evaluated, to consistently deliver quality results within budget
• Governance of the US Sales Strategy Timeline, holding cross-functional teams accountable for meeting the required due dates by usage of weekly scorecards and alignment meetings
• Monitors the accuracy, timely and efficient creation and distribution of selling materials (sample mock-ups, content sheets) and product information (price lists) essential to the sales organization successful execution of corporate objectives
• Responsible for efficiently validating and approving divisional SAP user access and Ariba purchase orders to ensure compliance
• Acts with urgency to provide quick and accurate product pricing verification to MasterData, enabling timely order processing and delivery to the customer
• Responsible for the efficient and detail-oriented project management of item and pricing validation necessary for corporate initiatives (i.e. brand integrations/policy changes/operational efficiencies)
• Proactively implements ongoing improvements to the sales communication tools, such as Share point sites, webinars, and weekly announcements. Approves all existing Sales Information communication prior to release to the broader organization.
• Acts as the liaison between IT and Sales, to implement sales technology projects, ensuring that business cases are validated
• Manages the communication and third party agreements for customer data processes (data sync), ensuring Coty remains in compliant with GS1 standards.
• Builds strong relationships across departments to achieve support necessary to execute initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Education - 4 year Bachelor Degree
• Experience leading a team accountable for delivering time-oriented results
• Relevant high profile project management success
• Technical skills: Microsoft Office (excel, PowerPoint) SAP

WORKING CONDITIONS (Open Environment):
• Person required to work in the New York Headquarters (Empire State Building)
• Flexibility to travel as necessary (industry conferences 2-3 times/year)
