MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Description:
The e-National Account Manager on Macy’s for US Coty Luxury owns the delivery of Net Revenue and P&L targets for a portfolio of Coty Luxury brands with Macy’s in partnership with the Luxury VP Sales, Macy’s. Job functions include account management, business development and analysis, brand growth strategy definition for Macy’s, online sales fundamentals execution, marketing program development and execution, Ecomm Net Revenue Targets, and budget management.
Specific job functions include:
• Drive sell-in of new launches, and analyze business performance on an ongoing basis proposing recommendations to improve retail sales
• Define and execute brand growth strategies for Macy’s, contributing to our annual Macy’s joint business plan.
• Develop Ecomm portfolio activations to drive innovation and create meaningful “always on” core strategies through ratings & review execution, content execution (eg Bazaarvoice, Webcollage) and traffic driving activities to support Macy’s conversion.
• Assess performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing recommendations to maximize A&P efficiency based on ROI learning
• Execution of Perfect Store On-line at Macy’s, working closely with local Ecomm Marketing for on-line sales fundamentals (`CARS`) optimization, fit-for-use e-retail content, and tracking deliverables with systemic action plan
• Ensure the flawless operations with the customer for his/her brand portfolio, including forecasting accuracy and flawless supply meeting Amazon requirements (working with supply chain).
• Act as the key point of contact with Macy’s, managing and addressing daily requests, working closely with internal cross-functional teams.
• Strategically plan and manage the Ecomm Co-op and A&CP budget, to deliver Net Revenue KPI’s, in partnership with Finance and Luxury VP Sales.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ownership and delivery of our targets with Macy’s for his/her brand portfolio.
• Ownership of the day to day commercial relationship with Macy’s for his/her brand portfolio.
• Key contributor to the overall joint business plan with Macy’s with KPI`s in support of delivering the targets
• Own execution of perfect store on-line at Macy’s, with support from Ecomm Marketing
• Own operational excellence with Macy’s (e.g. supply, content, listings, forecasting)
• Own trade spend budgets and optimize for KPI`s (traffic/conversion/basket/repeat/profit).
Application Pre-Requisites:
• Bachelor degree; advanced degree a plus
• 7+ years of retail, with 1-2 years of Ecommerce experience.
• Affinity with Beauty and Luxury. Prior luxury and fragrance category experience is a plus, but not a pre-requisite.
Special skills required:
• Ability to consistently achieve positive results externally
• Good knowledge of Eretailer`s business model with ability to apply this knowledge to win with them
• Strong analytical skills to distill actionable insights from data
• Ability to listen to understand, and to translate brand strategies to ACCOUNT and enroll the customer
• Good negotiating skills with the ability to influence up one level in the Coty Luxury NA E-commerce team
• Ability to effectively resolve competing priorities for team and customer, or for the team and other functions
• Ability to work effectively within a fast paced, complex matrix and changing environment
• Flexibility to travel as required – est. 20% of time
