Position Summary:
The primary responsibilities of the Go To Market Manager are to strategize, innovate, and direct product and brand initiatives, creating comprehensive go-to-market strategies, leading to maximization of market share, profitability and sales. Additionally, the will serve as the central point of contact for the respective league and ensuring that we are always proactively executing against our rights and obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serves as central point of contact and subject matter expert for all league rights, royalty rates, and competitive landscape
• Responsible for consolidating league/contract level financials by working with the Finance and Planning departments
• Owns day to day relationship with the league on all business matters; responsible for quarterly business reviews with the league
• Responsible for working with the business and leagues to focus efforts, measure and report on key growth initiatives
• Co-own, with Merchandising and Finance, our overall wholesale pricing strategy
• Serve as main point of contact for sales on all new product launches and operational strategies
• Oversee Sub-Licensee strategy and relationship
• Serve as initial point of contact and oversee for all new art/product requests
• Partners with marketing to ensure we activate contractual and discretionary marketing dollars to drive ROI
• Works across departments to develop and execute an inventory management strategy
• Ensures league business obligations are fulfilled with current line of product, follows up on contract product issues
• Manages and tracks all league merchandise credit commitments
Job Requirements/Skills:
• Years of Related Professional Experience: 5+
• Educational/Position Requirements: Bachelor Degree's required
• Direct sales experience preferably in licensed sales
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent operational knowledge
• Excellent asset management skills.
• Strong PC skills (spreadsheets, word processing)
