About the team:
We’re looking for a very special candidate for the role of Executive Assistant to Refinery29’s CEO and Co-Founder. The candidate will support Refinery29's CEO by becoming his partner and "right-hand" in the day to day management of Refinery29. As his assistant, you have the unique opportunity to be at the center of a global media and entertainment company. Someone with a serious interest and passion for the larger media landscape will thrive in this role. This position requires you to be an extremely adept communicator - both in writing and live interactions. The ideal candidate will be scrappy and a creative problem-solver, always willing to go the extra mile to get the job done. Some of the softer skills that we're looking for include being an extremely self-aware and personable individual, as well an intellectually curious person with a good sense of humor.

What you’ll do:
• Manage meeting logistics including booking and prepping rooms, creating and preparing necessary materials, organizing catering, providing conference call details, taking notes, and welcoming external guests
• Establish productive relationships with team leaders, other assistants, Board Members and R29 executives to work as collaboratively as possible
• Ensure priorities are managed; daily and long-term requests are addressed
• Proactively manage both personal and professional calendars
• Project management and special projects with a focus on keynote deck creation
• Manage and submit monthly expense reports
• Coordinate international and domestic travel logistics including flight itineraries, hotel rates and reservations, car services, and international phone plans in accordance with personal travel preferences
Conceive and organize internal events including happy hours, dinners, off-site meetings, and retreats
• Execute day-to-day administrative tasks including placing lunch orders, arranging deliveries, updating contacts, conducting research
• Manage and update bio, professional photos and CEO’s social media accounts for external meetings and boards
What you have:
• 3+ years of professional experience - bonus points for working at "rapid growth" companies!
• Great references for your leadership, creativity, and commitment
• Strong experience in all aspects of Google suite and keynote
• Must be a savvy marketer with a passion for digital media and emerging marketing principles
• Bachelor’s Degree
