Assistant Manager, Social Media & Influencer
Job Summary: Conception, development and implementation of social, influencer and digital initiatives on the owned MATRIX channels
Key Job Accountabilities
Community Management & Social Content:
• Execute & assist in development of brand social strategy across Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube and Twitter.
Create and manage all content for each channel through collaborating with internal DMI (global) counterparts, as well as video production houses, photographers, writers and other internal departments as relevant.
Lead UGC identification efforts for content to be leveraged on Matrix/Biolage owned channels as well as shoppable content on Matrix.com.
Responsible for all brand community management, consistent and ongoing social listening/engagement.
Create on-going content calendars for social posting and influencer executions.
Schedule and monitor content utilizing tools such as Spredfast.
Explore partnerships with internal brand partners, media, magazines, publishing houses, personalities, blogs, and craft recommendations for the team.
Lead coordinating and scheduling Facebook Lives with trade partners and brand artists/educators; identifying personnel, themes, and coordinating day-of logistics
Conduct content capture and live posting from events and onsite initiatives.
Manage content development calendar across all brands, ensuring messaging is consistent with marketing objectives; work with agencies and internal teams to coordinate, format and implement all assets.
Review user-generated comments and posts on all social media sites in a timely manner, responding to comments in order to foster a positive community and add value to the user’s experience; escalate negative commentary or issues to the appropriate internal team members.
Connect with PR team to ensure all activations are supported as relevant.
Maintain Brand Partnerships & Internal Social Leadership
• Ongoing artist network communication and guidance
Ongoing Trade, distributors, Chains communication and guidance
Attend L’Oreal-wide Social Squad meetings and report key learnings to the team
Influencer Management
• Implement PRO and Consumer influencer strategies created by PR & social team to increase brand awareness
Manage and track influencer deliverables
Responsible for all influencer mailings and product inventory (hiring temp as needed)
Track, maintain and help grow Influencer (PRO/Consumer) network – MOM/YOY
Provide recommendations for opportunistic influencer activity and brand partnerships
Analytics & Reporting
• Monthly Dashboard updates and ad-hoc reporting for executive meetings
Work closely with Tribe Dynamics on calculating and reporting EMV – understand and implement new ROI metrics
Pull engagement, reach, and social conversation metrics using tools including Netbase, Rival IQ, Traackr, and Tribe Dynamics
Develop key indicators against which social media efforts will be measured, and create a corresponding analytics framework to monitor performance and ROI
Digital & Paid Media
• Execute all paid social boosting, working closely with Digital team & Manager on strategy and budget
Report on all boosted social initiatives and identify new targeting recommendations to drive results
Research and identify digital trends and make recommendations for greater engagement
Help implement Paid Media plans, from Manager & Digital team
Help implement SEO efforts tied to PR and Digital
Approve all website UGC, Content, formulas prior to going live on matrix.com and pro.
Work with internal CMI and CMO teams to keep on top of trends and new reporting, emerging platforms, analytics, etc.
Admin:
• Work closely with Manager
Work closely with internal Digital counterparts and brand team members
Work closely with internal DMI (Global) team on all social strategy and execution
Assist on opportunistic tasks as needed
Open POs or new vendors as needed
Source materials (influencer, props, etc.,) as needed
