The Associate Marketing Manager will link customer and business needs to marketing plans, drawing on knowledge of Aerie multi-channel marketing, understanding of e-commerce best practices, and analytical analysis. AMM position(s) play a key role in achieving growth through profitable marketing programs that provide ‘wherever, whenever’ brand right customer experience and service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with Senior Director to develop seasonal online/multi-channel marketing plans that support overall brand strategy.
• Participate in overall channel integration between aerie.com and Aerie stores.
• Partner with Merchandising and Marketing to understand and develop key seasonal online messages.
• Develop seasonal marketing plans partnering with internal marketing team, merchandising and digital production teams. Submit creative briefs + IT business requirements to provide direction and objectives.
• Be knowledgeable of current business and how to leverage promotions in response to business need.
• Serve as day-to-day digital manager with external marketing partners including, but not limited to: loyalty, affiliates, search engine marketing, email. Primary liaison(s) for internal marketing partners.
• Collaborate with Senior Director on strategic initiatives for Aerie direct including: promotional strategies, hind-sighting and planning of future digital marketing programs, customer acquisition and retention strategies.
• Identify key strategic customer segments and implement plans to leverage web tools (new features, A/B testing, scenarios) to improve message/offer relevancy, and drive incremental sales.
• Recommend and implement new or expanded online efforts to drive new customer acquisition within given spend and ROI targets.
• Own the Aerie Direct marketing calendar for execution of all webset, emails and sms text notifications.
• Act as leader of internal digital marketing team by communicating seasonal, monthly and weekly strategies and business needs to graphic design and brand voice teams. Partner with these teams creatively to achieve an emotional connection with the customer given the financial and product strategies of the season thru a digital lens.
• In partnership with Senior Director, manage and execute seasonal Digital Paid Media advertising. Adhere to media timelines and communicate to digital design team.
• Responsible for management of music licensing for branded video content.
• Manage seasonal timeline of aerie stickers with graphic design and brand voice team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA/BS degree in marketing or related field. (MBA or MA is a plus.)
• 2+ years relevant experience, preferably from e-commerce marketing. Retail experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical abilities (quantitative and qualitative) and the desire to evaluate data to enhance decision making
• Proven strategic thinking & planning capabilities
• Strong organizational and planning skills, with ability to effectively coordinate several key projects simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal (via phone and in-person) and written communication skills. Ability to develop strong working relationships both inside and outside of the organization.
