Your Role
Fossil is currently searching for a Marketing Manager to join our Tory Burch Brand and will own all marketing responsibilities related to the Tory Burch brand. The role’s primary purpose will be to strategically plan and execute multi-channel marketing programs that support the brand in achieving top global and regional performance with a focus on wholesale and retail channels.
A successful candidate will be a self-starter, quick learner & a collaborative individual, as well as an influencer and decision maker, internally and externally. The candidate will be responsible for working collaboratively across a cross-functional team to include other departments such as regional teams and creative. The candidate will be instrumental in setting global strategy and direction through marketing plans and initiatives that support key product launches and categories for the Fossil Group business. Lastly, this candidate will present out to upper management internally and externally (to the licensor) that will bring their marketing strategies to life, globally.
Some essential responsibilities for this marketing manager include:
• Manage marketing plans that include social, influencers, media/advertising, wholesale coop and PR efforts, all tying together for impactful marketing campaigns.
• Establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with licensor in order to coordinate integrated marketing plans and influence the licensors to support the category on their owned and operated channels.
• Partner with internal Brand Management team to align on business and marketing objectives and strategies.
• Own global marketing budget and work closely with licensing and finance teams.
• Present strategic presentations and forward thinking initiatives to licensors to better serve as an expert in the watch industry and to help make informed decisions where needed.
• Own the creation of strategic, integrated marketing, media and PR plans for the Americas, APAC and EMEA regions with licensor approvals. This candidate with set global strategic direction and then will execute US integrated marketing program from there.
• Own the marketing plan submission process between regions and the licensor and making sure process is streamlined for internal and licensor efficiencies
• Manage marketing calendars, templates, and deliverables to ensure marketing assets are delivered on-time and with excellence.
• Open jobs in project management system, assign tasks, ensure delivery. And manage all projects to hit deadlines and execute flawlessly. Leading all teams involved in said projects is crucial to success.
• Quality control and optimization of regional marketing executions, including in store POS executions, roadshows, and events through retail and wholesale efforts.
• Develop performance indicators and benchmarks in collaboration with the regional brand-marketing partners, measure the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing programs.
• Analyze data, synthesize learning, and present with recommendations to internal stakeholders and licensors
• Assists licensor on the development of all global marketing assets, including campaigns and any and all brand guidelines that bring the marketing campaign ti life.
• Manage the approval process for tactics that require licensor submission.
• Oversee approval of tactics that do not require licensor submission. Ensures consistent and favorable brand presence for all got to market executions.
• Manage PR agency for all PR initiatives
Your Skills
• At least 5 years experience in marketing, brand management or strategy roles
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline; MBA a plus
• Strong presentation skills and strong presentation creation skills are required
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Solid communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
• Strong writing skills are required
• Ability to multi-task and to manage multiple projects & deadlines simultaneously
• Relevant and current knowledge of the industry, market trends and strategies
• Highly organized individual with strong attention to details
• Experience in working with creative and advertising agencies is a plus
• Budget management experience is a plus
• Experience with media/advertising planning is a plus
• PR experience is a plus
