Overview:
The Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives is responsible for leading and executing on strategic priorities that impact the stores for brand.This position will also lead and influence these initiatives across the enterprise. This role is accountable for being a change leader in a growth brand and for influencing, developing and implementing initiatives to drive growth, and productivity. You are a strong leader who is wired to experimentation and continuous improvement. You are an inspirational leader who demonstrates interpersonal savvy and can lead and influence without authority.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and execute strategic brand initiatives
• Influence and lead these initiatives across the enterprise
• Strategize and prioritize cross-functional initiatives ensuring implementations are on budget, on metric and delivered on time
• Work closely with cross functional teams within the Brand and across the enterprise.
• Build and lead a high performing team to deliver results and value
• Evaluate key processes for improvement
• Lead program planning and forecasting of project schedules and budget
• Define and maintain process and documentation for program activities (planning and execution) while leveraging organizational standards
• Communicate to stakeholders and executives on project plans, status, and risks
• Own decisions and find solutions quickly and with confidence – lead the way forward
Success Profile:
• 7+ years of sr. management experience in operations or management consulting capacity
• Strong ability to navigate through ambiguity and identify potential paths forward
• Deep functional expertise and demonstrated success within function or focus area
• Balance of strategic and operational skills (working High/Low constantly) to drive results
• Strong ability to influence, collaborate, create recommendations, and execute
• Demonstrated success in building and leading high performing teams (empowered, and empowering)
• Willingness to let go of “the way we have always done things”
• Excellent project management, communication, and operational/organization skills, including the ability to anticipate, identify, and communicate risks to key stakeholders, including the senior leadership team
• Proven judgment and data driven decision making in fast paced environments
