JOB TITLE:Sally Hansen Marketing Coordinator
DEPARTMENT:Sally Hansen, North America
REPORTS TO:Brand Manager, Sally Hansen
LOCATION: New York
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The candidate for the Marketing Coordinator position will be responsible for assisting the Brand Team in all areas of the Marketing process, including timing, execution, and delivery. This person should be well-organized, provide accurate data, and help to identify areas of opportunity within the market place.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist Marketing Manager in the development of promotional offerings, marketing, and media tactics
• Interface with all internal support groups (Creative, Packaging, Purchasing, Planning, Sales, Sales Administration and Trade Marketing) as well as external vendors
• Retail/ In-store
◦ Manage process of briefing and updating display creative for each promotional period.
◦ Manage process of creating product wall update kits and proofing planograms
◦ Manage National Display NPDRs, develop & recommend product mix and assortments for promotional programs, prepare and issue all programs national programs into NPDR system
◦ Update and maintain all bi-monthly Operations Meeting minutes and manage the tracker process.
◦ Provide recommendations and implement all major account/special account requests including GWP’s and excess inventory programs
• Product/ Innovation
◦ Organize and maintain global and US color nail polish details for each Sally Hansen franchise: Shade Codes, Swatches, product boards.
◦ Aid in the development and execution of new product promotional plans, POP, materials, influencer, and PR initiatives
◦ Coordinate comps and sell sheets of new products and promotional items with cross functional teams (Creative, Customer Marketing, and Sales Administration)
◦ Assure accuracy of all codes across all platforms, including Add/ Delete file and price list, input codes and pricing into the SKU library system.
◦ Maintain product closet and product walls and send out product for events and meetings
• Digital/ E-commerce
◦ Manage brand website content including SallyHansen.com and Retailer.com, update and publish copy file for all product launches, ensure consistency across product pages, maintain timeline to ensure timely launch.
◦ Coordinate all digital creative asset file transfers to external vendors for media campaigns.
◦ Review all social media calendars for copy and creative accuracy
• Reporting/ Analysis
◦ Track launch progress against KPI’s, report on results, and provide post-launch analysis
◦ Insightful analysis of top line monthly sales data vs. forecast and/or latest estimates
◦ Special analysis projects as needed (i.e. Returns, Nielsen, Top Account Reports)
◦ Gatekeeper of competitive activity and information (advertising, products, pricing and displays)
• Administrative
◦ Assist brand team with scheduling meetings, arranging business meals, ordering supplies and preparing meeting materials
◦ Create Purchase orders and maintain/track all financial spend to monitor marketing expenses vs. budget .
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:(Academic, Professional, Relevant Job Knowledge)
4-year Undergraduate Degree in Communications or Related Field
1-2+ years professional experience in a sales/marketing environment
