Production Assistant

Provide support in the development of new styles from concept to production via interaction with internal and external cross functional partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Interface with Design partners to monitor fabric, trim and wash development; own approval process
• Track and access weekly factory production status reports/ approval status report
• Communicate daily with internal/ external partners regarding style development, production and delivery information
• Adhere to the TNA calendar; responsible for all sample tracking and to ensure on-time delivery of all development
• Send out PLM and packages to vendors, track delivery
• Maintain and organize costing and style information records
• Partner with Coordinators on garment cost, quantity, production planning, sourcing and delivery
• Interpret collected information, react appropriately, and communicate with affected parties in a timely manner
• Prepare and communicate the agenda for cross functional team meetings; attend meetings
• Perform other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or equivalent
• 1 year of related experience preferred
• Ability to act as liaison between many departments; excellent communication and analytical skills, Must be detail oriented, computer literate and able to handle multiple tasks at once
