SUMMARY
The Retail Merchandising Director drives results which achieve brand and revenue goals, achieve sales growth and profit maximization, and align the region to the global Crocs brand with a strong consumer focus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and maintain long term and short term global merchandising strategic plans as directed by the business that meet target revenue goals.
• Drive market strategy including the merchandising vision, strategy and assortment plan for all Crocs product lines for Retail with alignment to the global brand.
• Collaborate with global and regional functions including merchandising, product, marketing, supply chain, sales and regional GM’s to deliver alignment and execution of a globally and regionally directed assortment and supporting go-to-market tools.
• Clear and regular communication with key global and regional cross-functional partners.
• Focus on the consumer, brand vision and business needs to build and drive key seasonal brand and product stories.
• Establish market-right initial pricing, mark down cadence, and manage promotional activity.
• Edit the product line to amplify powerful product stories, align with key global stories, and support new product launches by smartly planning product flow and lifecycle.
• Provide regular analytics and analysis around key metrics that will inform key stakeholders, drive the business and create value for the Retail channel.
• Conduct analysis on key areas such as regions, countries, gender, silhouette, global MSRP, pricing strategies, product lifecycles, channels, segmentation.
• Drive analysis of in-season performance and play forward learnings into forward forecasts for all channels.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 10 years of product and merchandising experience, footwear industry preferred
• 5 years of management experience
• Proficient in Microsoft office
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Strong financial analysis and management skills
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Proven ability to lead and persuade others
• Proven ability to develop and coach staff in building a performance culture
• Results orientation that is balanced between both long-term objectives and short-run performance
• Passion and tenacity for solving problems through creativity, collaboration and resourcefulness
• Comfortable dealing with uncertainty by creating structure and prioritizing effectively
• Ability to travel up to 30%
