Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic store financial plans that support the company's objectives with the guidance of manager.
• Initiate & create monthly store plans in line with Financial Plans and OTB forecasts accounting for Holidays, events, & store renovations/expansions
• Analyze store / attribute level sales, gross margin and inventory. Quantify sales and profit opportunities
• Conduct analysis based on location based performance
• Coordinate and maintain store profiles. Partner with cross functional teams to define and attribute stores
• Build and monitor store / division capacity guideline to support the proper distribution of product to maximize sales and gross margin and optimize inventory
Collaborate with manager on development of store plans that support financial
targets and help to achieve operation deadlines.
• Assist with new store opening, expansion, and renovation planning process with the cross functional team; defining sister store through cross functional partnership
• Analyze and report on new store performance
• Document new store opening process and communication
Support strategic initiatives and participate in all planning activities that support the annual retail goals.
• Manage weekly reporting and share key findings with manager
• Identify and communicate sales opportunities and stock liabilities by door on a regular basis
• Partner with manager to recap business at a by door level and create hindsight reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to allow for thorough analysis of the business. Communicate and champion needs of the stores
• Establish strong relationships with buying/planning team and stores in order to better understand merchandising strategies and needs of the business. Visit stores at least once a month with the team
Required Skills & Experience
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
• Computer Literate – Advanced Excel Skills
• Ability to learn new processes, systems, and best practices quickly and effectively
• Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
• Ability to thrive in entrepreneurial environment
