Role Overview:
The primary responsibilities of the Sales Planning Manager is to lead and oversee the development and execution of account financial plans to line up with Lee financial plans. This includes, but not limited to, analysis and research of sales trends, sales history, revenues, and inventory positions. Establish control-related standards/procedures and develop planning process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work cohesively with account teams to develop best practices for initial planning and reforecasting, as well as determine support needed from internal divisions. Key "Go to" person for users on issues with Arthur.
• Research and analyze sales trends, sales history and performance, revenues, current and planned inventories, as well as other business components to maximize sales, brand image, and internal/external profits by account.
• Collaborate with product and account teams to assist in merchandising strategy including assortments, sales planning and pricing
• Integrate new accounts and sub-brands into Lee reporting/planning process.
• Develop alignment and visibility around long range strategies (IMS)
• Lead and oversee the development and execution of account financial plans to line up with our financial plans.
• Evaluate pre- and post- promotion analysis to provide input into MAP and RTV strategies
• Must be able to step in and support account team when planner is absent.
Key Relationships:
Account Planners, Account Sales Executives, Sales Directors and Corporate Forecasting/Planning, Corporate RFSM partners.
Qualifications:
• College Degree in Business, Math, Computer Science, or Finance.
• Advanced level of retail sales planning/retail math experience
• Experience with retail ladder planning tools
• Experience with retail inventory management
• Experience with retail profitability
Capabilities:
• Strong PC application and web-based application skills. Knowledge of Planning application tools (Arthur) and MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven track record of innovation and process improvements with dividends
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to listen and interpret user's needs
• Proficiency in working with associates at all levels and across functional areas within organization
