The Associate Producer is responsible for assisting the Product Marketing & Brand Positioning Supervisor in delivering a consistent look and voice for the brand across various communications channels to drive business and elevate the brand. The Associate Producer will assist in developing creative content that supports 1) the seasonal marketing vision and Lilly’s Resort Chic brand positioning 2) seasonal product offerings and key items and 3) overall brand identity and messaging. Creative content responsibilities include: ecommerce photography, seasonal campaigns, lookbooks, e-mail blasts, video, and promotional materials.
This role reports directly to the Product Marketing & Brand Positioning Supervisor. The focus of this position is on the creative development and planning for all e-commerce platform needs. This includes elements of pre-production, photography shoots, post-production, and marketing. On an interactive front, this role also supports our e-commerce site with creative, online marketing, email campaigns, and social networking. Doing this well supports our other channels of business as we build the brand. All creative components must support the Lilly’s Resort Chic brand positioning and the creative vision.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pre-Production
• Model Castings—learn how to select models based on our visual needs.
• Use instagram and other social media platforms to scout Hair, Makeup, and Photographer talent.
• Develop relationships with agencies to help strengthen the brand’s reputation.
• Send call sheets prior to ecommerce photo shoots.
• Build and maintain an excel file with our budgetary line items.
• Build solid communicative relationships with merchandising and design teams.
• Work with the Product Marketing & Brand Positioning Supervisor to plan the communication for each of these key stories during the business meetings with the merchandising team through the campaign shoot, the ecommerce shoots (including product initiative shoots, the manual shoot, and the LB shoot).
• Be the primary KOP point person for the “PR” line of samples. Manage the samples from the check-in/inventory process when the samples first arrive to the office to the time we are done shooting ecommerce.
• Act as the point person for lending samples to NY majors team, Signature team, agencies for publications, and Merchandising team.
• Work with Merchandising and the Product Marketing & Brand Positioning Supervisor the week leading up to the seasonal lookbook shoot to develop product stories and manage sample process for the PR line.
• Create and maintain shot lists by season with Alex Fishoff.
Pre-Production and On Set Role
• Leading the e-commerce photo shoots and assisting on the campaign photo shoot. Learn the styling techniques, production elements and photo shoot details from the Brand Manager.
• Develop strong relationships with agencies and talent.
• Work with the E-commerce Business Operations Associate on reshoots, fast tracks, and late add scheduling, as well as up to date shot lists.
• Oversee all planning, travel, and model/hair/makeup scheduling for photo shoots.
• Work alongside the Art Directors in selecting models, photographers, and locations.
• Oversee the digital file management system from daily web photo shoots.
• Develop the production schedule for web photo studio teams on a seasonal basis.
• Manage and Maintain budgets for catalog, web, and video.
• Develop an eye for making selects that will be used on the website and various collateral.

Production is a fast-paced, versatile field that requires some specific skills:
• Understanding of the apparel market and a vision for business-driving tactics.
• Insight for the ever-changing channels of consumer communication, especially the power of online marketing.
• Creative vision as well as fine attention to detail in project management.
• Ability to maintain a strict calendar of deadlines and ensure others to do the same.
• Strong budget maintenance and commitment.
• Strong verbal and written skills.
• Strong management and multi-tasking skills.
• An understanding of the Lilly Pulitzer brand positioning and consumer target strategy.
• Solution oriented skills to manage various personalities and changing factors.
