E-Commerce Merchandise Manager - Kid's Division
Specific Responsibilities
• Works with the product teams to manage online pricing strategies such as markdowns and promotions
• Publishes and maintains dynamic and static content on the website through the e-commerce management tool
• Analyzes category performance to evaluate merchandising efforts, product sell through, and product opportunities
• Works with the eCommerce marketing team to provide merchandising strategy information and recommendations
• Monitor performance of search and navigation, adding keyword redirects and rearranging dimension order when appropriate
• Possess strong understanding of the relationships between page views, conversion and other relevant web based KPIs and action information accordingly
• Feature appropriate product as it relates to current and future inventory levels
• Responsible for the promotion and sell through of excessive Inventory
• Report key findings of performance of units per category
• Leverage splash pages, category banners and social media channels to educate visitors on the features and benefits of products on site
• Analyze category needs, identify areas of opportunity and provide constructive feedback to the R&D and Marketing Services Teams
• Effectively manage SEO within product detail pages and category detail pages
• Interpret design inspiration and offline visual merchandising stories for the web to maintain consistent product messaging across channels
• Ensuring flawless data integrity in the maintenance of the merchandise catalogue
• Other duties as assigned
Skills and Requirements
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
• Minimum 4+ years in a merchandising, product purchasing or planning category
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel) required
• Proven work ethic with utmost integrity
• Self-motivated, passionate, empathetic, approachable
• Highly computer savvy including interactive and social networking knowledge
• Ability to track and analyze web site performance Finish
• Exceptional written and oral communications skills, creativity, and attention to detail are a must
