Overview
Manage programs, strategies and service support related to Special Events and Promotions that interface with both Tiffany & Co. customers and the media, as well as Corporate for the North American Region of Special Events, all to the high standards of the Tiffany brand.
Responsibilities
• Partner with the NY store team and oversee the N.A. Events Associate on event details/logistics and execution for events and promotions in the NY Flagship, Wall Street and Soho - namely Tiffany Register programs & other customer events, community partner events, TFB and Media events. Manage major event recaps, event calendars and Tiffany executive communications.
• Act as direct liaison between North America PR/Events & Promotions and NY Retail to ensure Flagship, Soho & Wall Street stores are sufficiently supported on all event initiatives, while continuing to elevate event standards.
• Schedule and lead regular meetings with NY CDM to ensure event calendar and specifically NY Retail Event Budget are on track and in line with 2016 expectations
• Support the Engagement/Bridal, Fashion and Holiday (Valentine's/Mother's Day/Christmas) categories by overseeing all category events and promotions in the N.A. through: rolling out event strategies and guidelines (based on Global templates and provided elements) to either directly implement & execute or to provide to stores as a reference tool. For all events and promotions funded by the central N.A. team, Manager is responsible for overseeing event logistics & budgets, and working closely with internal partners - most especially N.A. media relations.
• Implement event concepts and strategies for key product categories to help drive incremental sales and client traffic in store. Develop and distribute event directives to all NA markets, and help support NA stores as they execute events locally. Collaborate with CVM to ensure event directives are in line with CVM guidelines for each product categories
• Oversee and execute all events in N.A. featuring brand partner Patek Philippe, in partnership with local retail colleagues as well as the PP brand team, from the initial planning through event execution and post-event recap. Collaborate with local Tiffany/Patek markets to ensure event format resonates with local customers and is approved by Patek Philippe team, and is within existing budget both for TCO N.A. PR and PP. Create custom invitations, manage overall budget and provide oversight to ensure events maintain Tiffany’s elevated standards.
• Oversee and manage team Event Coordinator, as well as: responsible for obtaining all approvals from Patek Philippe managing event budgets, working closely with CVM and all necessary external vendor
• Oversee Event Coordinator’s planning and event execution in NY Retail stores and/or offsite events. Manage Event Coordinator’s departmental administrative duties including budget management, calendar updates, event logistic memos, Invitation Library requests, intranet updates, Ariba invoicing and drafting recap documents related to the various event activities that the Manager oversees. Also, to oversee the management of all temporary event staff as related to Manager’s projects.
• Directly manage Coordinator’s growth within the department, and provide guidance and opportunities to increasingly take on a more formal and active role in planning and executing N.A. PR events especially in the NY Region.
Qualifications

• 8-10 years special events experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
