Overview
Urban Outfitters is looking for a top-notch digital analyst to join our Customer Analytics team. The right candidate for this position will possess a balance of quantitative reporting and analytical skills alongside a big-picture strategic curiosity. This position will assist the Customer Analytics Manager in providing fact based recommendations, guidance, and reporting in the areas of marketing channel performance, customer contact strategy, customer valuation, and customer behavior.
Responsibilities
• Developing and maintaining daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal, annual reporting needs on marketing activities (direct mail, email, Online Marketing, Social Media, and Store events)
• Execute day-to-day analytic requests
• Automating and standardizing any manual, time-consuming business processes to improve efficiency
• Maintain performance report cards on various loyalty and marketing programs and initiatives
• Identify business trends and shifts, and recommend data-driven responses to the Marketing organization
• Acting as a liaison to the IT department, as well as sister brand teams regarding the development and adoption of future projects, such as business intelligence tools and integrating new data
Qualifications
• 1-2 years of Marketing and Analytics experience in a multi-channel or online retail environment
• Strong analytical and mathematical proficiency
• Experience with SQL, MicroStrategy or similar BI Application
• Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Solid understanding of the major marketing channels including email, SEO, SEM and affiliates
• Experience working with large data warehouses a plus
• Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with other areas of the company, and external vendors
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Business, or a related field.
