Associate, Trade Marketing, Specialty Multi, Clinique
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Associate will support the North America Marketing, Specialty-Multi Account Management (Sephora & Ulta) team in driving sales and market share growth of Clinique in North America through the execution of retailer-specific marketing programs & merchandising execution. The Associate will also provide assistance with tactical and daily operations and should seek to support the account management team’s goal to strengthen communication with the field and internal partners and generate retailer support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Launch Planning/ Marketing Programming for Sephora & Ulta
oAssist with the preparation for field and retailer presentations/interactions with respect to marketing and promotions, with the goal of generating retailer support and superior execution of Clinique programs in store.
oChampion brand equity and present innovative solutions to Marketing Manager to help achieve brand and sales goals.
•Merchandising
oPartner with Field Sales, Visual Merchandising and Creative Operations to plan and execute merchandising refreshes including Sephora & Ulta Boutique merchandising updates, incremental opportunities and price increases.
oTrack all job starts and deadlines and meet with Marketing Manager weekly to review timelines.
oAttend weekly meetings & own detailed recaps of action items & next steps.
oManage assortments for both retail accounts. Strong Excel skills are needed & strong attention to detail.
oReview all merchandising routes for accuracy to the account assortments, latest pricing, copy and marketing launch strategy.
•Market Week
oAssist North America Account Management team in the development of retailer-specific decks for seasonal market week presentations and ensure retailer-specific needs and comps are addressed/prepared in advance.
•Comps
oWork to support North America Account Management team on weekly comp requests for advertising, pitching and PR for Sephora & Ulta.
oEnsure all comps are mailed and delivered according to retailer deadlines.
•Sales Reporting and Daily Operations
oProvide delivery of weekly sales reports to North America Account Management Team.
oMaintain sales & marketing calendars for Account Management team by account.
oSeek opportunities to improve the organization of data and reporting for the entire Account Management team (US Department Stores, Sephora, Ulta, etc.).
Qualifications
•The candidate should have 2-3 years of related experience.
•BA/BS from top school preferred.
•Have facility to identify, prioritize and adjust to multiple needs.
•Highly detail oriented with proven project management experience.
•Exhibit strong analytical skills and detail orientation with strong problem solving capabilities.
•Requires strong oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal and team building capabilities with internal functional groups as well as with external partners.
•Candidate should be collaborative, proactive and resourceful.
•Requires an ability to navigate the organization and think of creative solutions to achieve business goals.
•Strong MS Excel and Powerpoint skills.
