What Will You Be Doing?
As a business analyst, you will operate as an owner for your products to set strategy, define a technology product roadmap, and partner in execution with engineering and the business in order to solve major challenges facing the Merchandising organization and realize business benefit. The role is highly cross-functional and requires a candidate that enjoys navigating ambiguity. Successful candidates will enjoy diving deep into data and have a proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics. You will thrive in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment and are comfortable interacting with highly technical development teams.
Position Objective:
Supports the product manager in building the technology product roadmap, based on the company vision and analytical insights, and supports product development. Area of focus is Merchandising Data Science & Analytics.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Supports all or a majority of the tasks for several products that impact future product developments
• Supports roadmap development by analyzing business and users needs
• Translates business needs to actionable requirements in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria in an agile environment
• Works closely with cross-functional internal and external teams to continuously build and launch new technology products, platforms and features
• Effectively communicates with Manager on progress and impediments
• Supports market and competition research
• Identifies opportunities within area of ownership and makes strategic or tactical recommendations that display strong business judgment
• Looks to data and analytics to solve problems and inform decision making
Qualifications:
• 1+ years of experience in Analytics / Data
• 1+years of experience in Strategy / Consulting preferred
• 1+ years of experience in Product Management preferred
• Proven success thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic corporate environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative field (Technology, Engineering, Business, etc.)
