About the team:
Refinery29 is looking for an IT Support Manager to join our growing team in NY. This candidate will join our IT organization to lead the Support Team with a roadmap to success, lead by example and support Refinery29 employees. This person will partner with external vendors and other leaders across Refinery29 to provide a world-class customer experience.

What you’ll do:
• Manage the day-to-day activities of a team of support engineers; providing them any guidance and direction necessary
• Build and manage the IT Support Team’s annual roadmap
• Develop and manage the Support Team’s annual budget; ensuring all quarterly target are met and vendors are paid on-time
• Serve as a point of escalation for customer issues; ensuring the appropriate resources are engaged for timely action and proper traction
• Work with others to scale the organization for growth and iterate on existing systems and processes
• Set up workstations and accounts for new users
• Evaluate user technology and application needs and requirements and implement solutions to improve user satisfactio
• Proactively address problems and issues
• Manage operating systems, hardware and software support for personal computers, mobile devices, audio-visual equipment, VoIP telephone systems, wireless access, and printers
• Direct and manage the delivery of application, systems and security training
• Manage vendor support relationshipis to resolve technical problems, budgets and upgrades
• Provide support to the Director of IT with implementing and enforcing IT policies, standards, and methodologies
• Position reports to IT Director
What you have:
• 3+ years experience successfully managing day-to-day operations and personnel in a Creative/Studio environments
• Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
• Experience working in a primarily Mac OS X environment
• Expertise implementing and supporting Single Sign-On; OKTA preferred
• Self-starter who is not afraid to get dirty and take on anything that comes their way
• Advanced understanding of Google Apps Suite
• Experience managing the Office suite of Applications, both for Mac and PC
• Strong communication skills, ability to explain situations and set expectations
• Experience with the JAMF Casper Suite
• Must be hardworking and passionate about his/her craft; ability to multi-task
• Experience Supporting the Adobe Suite of Applications
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both written and verbal, to a variety of audiences
• Experience with Amazon Web Services is preferred
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, high energy environment
• University Degree or equivalent qualification
