Seasonal Training Coordinator
Calling all sports fans! Fanatics, Inc. is seeking an energetic EPIC /Seasonal Training Coordinator to work with our Fulfillment team in Las Vegas, NV.
1. Primary Purpose
The EPIC/Seasonal Training Coordinator is assigned to the Training Manager and will hold responsibilities specific to that area.
Shift Structure:
Fulfillment operates (7) days a week with both day and night shifts that may require overtime periodically based on business demands . All shifts are subject to change based on business need.
1. Duties and Responsibilities
Overall responsibilities will include the following functions:
• Communicate effectively to all levels of employees from executive to new employees.
• Conduct task analysis in order to create and validate Standard Operating Procedures for training purposes.
• Conduct and/or coordinate personal/professional improvement training courses using a participant centered approach.
• Create and maintain a system to record training completion, cross-training effectiveness and employee knowledge and skills based on positional KPI.
• Attend and add value to Fulfillment Center Management Team meetings.
• Observe and evaluate training programs / individual trainers and team leaders to make recommendations to improve training efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work across various shifts and times during peak season hours.
• Ability to work with and train a diverse workforce.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.
1. Education and Experience Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Highly proficient in computer usage, e-mail, Microsoft office suite
• Understanding of Fulfillment processes and flow
• Excellent organizational and presentation skills
• 6-12 months of facilitating adult learning theories and effective training principles
• Situational Leadership experience & knowledge
• 6-12 months of Previous Experience of training or technical writing
• Presentation Skills & ability/comfortability speaking in a classroom/tour environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Associates ’s degree is preferred
• Experience delivering training/information to peers, hourly associates, and senior management, both individually and in groups
• Experience delivering messages related to performance
• Ability to give and receive feedback effectively
• Ability to prioritize, manage and complete projects with tight deadlines
• Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy
• Desire to thrive in a dynamic, growing environment
• Warehouse experience and knowledge
• Experience with Warehouse Management system
1. Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to stand 6 to 8 hours per day
• May be expected to walk 5 to 10 miles per day
• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
