Visual Merchandising Manager (Retail)

GENERAL FUNCTION
The Manager Retail Visual Merchandising is influential in the development, execution and delivery of key Retail Visual Merchandising initiatives and the overall business strategy for one of the retail brands in the Luxottica Retail portfolio.The position leads a continuous interaction between the assortment team and the stores construction company, to bring to life store capacity rules and VM requirements compliance for all stores (new openings, remodelling, relocating and existing).
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Makes recommendations to the store construction Company and fleet renewal team for the strategic direction of store capacity for each store opening/remodelling/relocation .
• Responsible for verifying the compliance of every store opening with the relevant store design concept and gives feedback and recommendation on fixtures use and store concept requirements.
• Works collaboratively with the assortment team to create and deliver a profitable store capacity guide for the entire network every time the business requires it.
• Maintains all Retail VM Standards and principles, ensuring alignment amongst local teams
• Support for the setup of Brand Flow for every store opening and also ad hoc VM standards for specific stores
• Responsible for management and responding to short term local requests (tests, promotions, etc)
• Interaction with the brand local team (GM, Marketing, Operations, etc)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• 5+ years in similar roles, preferably in the Retail channel, with multi-brands approach and high levels of complexity (Analytical skills, precision, reliability ) or Store Construction retail industry
• Ability to work in a changing environment in a new and complex organization
• Solid Project management skills
• Strong team skills and an aptitude for cross functional interactions
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Solid Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc)
• Solid InDesign Skills
