Administrative Assistant
Responsibilities:
• Provide general business support to our EVP - Divisional COO and VP - Madewell Merchandising
• Heavy calendar management
• Screen phone calls
• Coordinate travel arrangements
• Administer expense reports and process departmental invoices
• Order supplies
• Anticipate needs of team
• Prepare documents for meetings
• Update and create reports under direction of supervisors

• Interpersonal skills- the individual maintains confidentiality, remains open to others’ ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things.
• Able to listen to direction but also be proactive and able to anticipate
• Have an extreme sense of urgency but also have an even disposition
• Able to resilient when dealing with high- pressure situations.
• Dependability- the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve improvement.
• Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality. Ability to handle sensitive material.
• Able to provide quick solutions and apply problem solving skills in fast-paced environment.
• Able to work extended hours during certain busy periods.
• Exercise independent judgment and initiative in prioritizing, scheduling, and organizing meetings.
• Flexibility to manage ever-changing schedules.
Education and Experience:
• BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform essential functions of the job.
• 3-4 years' administrative experience a must.
• Retail/Fashion experience a plus.
Skills & Abilities:
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
