Overview
The role of the PR Assistant for International Public Relations is to support NY-based team in the coordination of press samples, assets, meetings and reporting across multiple international markets/accounts. The International PR team in NY oversees public relations activities in Europe and Greater China through the management of local offices in London, Milan, Hong Kong and Shanghai. The team also oversees public relations activities throughout Latin America and Asia in partnership with distribution partners and PR agencies including in Brazil, Mexico, Panama, Chile and Japan. The PR Assistant will help support communications efforts to build brand awareness as Tory Burch expands its presence internationally.
Responsibilities
• Coordination of press sample trafficking for int’l markets (editorials, events, press days, VIP dressing, wholesale, etc.)
• Coordination of seasonal editor gifting (thank yous, holidays, discount list, events)
• Coordination of international press and retail lists for NYFW Spring and Fall fashion shows and seasonal press days
• Work with merchandising, marketing and creative teams to create seasonal and occasional press pitch packages to support global key items and local sales channel investments
• Support International PR team in the creation of asset packages for brand features and advertorials
• Press reporting – weekly and monthly clippings reports, initiative recaps, quarterly DMR analysis, internal coverage sharing (company intranet)
• Coordination of PR invoices processing
• Organization of conference calls, meetings and call agendas + recaps
Qualifications
• 1-2 years work experience in global fashion, luxury or lifestyle brands or relevant internships
• Experience in public relations, communications, or marketing functions
• Multi-lingual a plus
