How you’ll make a difference:
As a forward-thinking, energetic, and customer-driven thought leader, you’ll own a step-change in our online social media communities by implementing compelling social media strategies and evolving our digital content to support omni-channel growth. You’ll be responsible for developing a strategic approach that further evolves Custom Ink’s brand awareness and growing market share. In this role, you’ll reimagine our organic social media programs to drive customer and follower engagement and interaction. You’ll not only promote Custom Ink - you’ll nurture our online community by connecting with our followers and providing product & design inspiration, helpful tips & tricks, and support for our customers. You’ve got to be excited by the challenge of finding a balance among the many social platforms to ensure we stay on the leading edge and keep our customers excited to see what we do next!
What you’ll do:
In this role, you’ll own our social media presence and the engagement of our online community; driving the coordination, publication, and analysis of our content. With that, duties will include:
• Seamless coordination amongst multiple internal teams to create effective and engaging content
• Collaborating enterprise-wide (Creative, Merchandising, Stores, Operations, Fundraising) to support all channels’ needs and strategic initiatives that drive growth
• Establishing processes for the planning, publishing, and analysis of social programs that can scale with our business
• “Plugging In” to fully understand what excites our customers and what makes our business tick with the ability to merge the two in the form of successful social media content
• Monitoring social trends and engaging in Custom Ink social chatter to be our voice in relevant conversations
• Bringing a “jump right in” attitude and the ability to pivot and pitch in as needed
How you’ll be measured:
At Custom Ink, we love data and metrics! More than that, we love measuring the impact of our work on the experience and satisfaction of our customers. As a champion and voice for our brand, you’ll be measured (given the importance of this role, we’re also looking for someone to help us determine the most effective measures):
• By the effectiveness and efficiency of your project management, prioritization and ability to meet deadlines
• By tracking social media community engagement and growth
• By the assessment of data and insights to optimize outputs and drive future decisions
What we’re looking for:
Our customers are so important to us. As a voice of Custom Ink’s brand and a tangible touch point for our customers, we’ve got some high expectations:
• 3-5 years practical experience managing consumer, retail or e-commerce brand social media channels (monitoring, listening, publishing, responding, etc.)
• A great balance of left and right brain thinking: an eye for aesthetics coupled with a data-driven mindset
• Proven track record of tackling cross-functional collaboration and identifying and delivering solutions
• Demonstrated agility and flexibility while operating with a self-motivated sense of urgency, purpose, and ownership
• Insatiable curiosity (social is constantly changing) and a a persistence toward always improving
• Stellar communication and writing skills are an absolute must
• Natural interpersonal skills and a real desire to build relationships with highly-motivated, high-performing internal partners
