JOB PURPOSE
• Translate the global VM retail guidelines into wholesale specifics
• Implement an elevated VM experience in multiple format (3 walls boutiques, travel retail shops, back walls, open sell)
• Build relationships and drive external partners to execute high level of VM standards (Bergdorf, Barneys, Saks, Neiman, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales + specialty stores)
• Partner internally with the Wholesale Divisional Directors (WW, MW, CHW, Acc), Wholesale market Managers, Retail VM, Training)
• Relentlessly track and control the brand presentation in store and feedback to the accounts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand First – ‘Always do what’s best for the brand’.
• Work in partnership with the wholesale brand managers to help plan, coordinate and execute monthly corporate Visual Merchandising guidelines across all wholesale accounts.
• Translate the global VM retail guidelines and create wholesale specific directives to assist the external partners to elevate the brand presentation
• Partner closely with Senior Visual Manager (Retail) so that all brand presentation initiatives are aligned throughout the region.
Customer Centric – ‘Put the customer at the center of everything we do’.
• Implement a cohesive VM experience in multiple format / Accounts (shop in shops, travel retail shops, walls, open sell) on a monthly basis.
• Ensure the accounts are presented in an elevated and luxury way by being detail orientated and understanding the client experience, through any allocated window displays, special installations, product placement, etc.
• Liaise with Wholesale Divisional Directors and Brand managers to make appropriate visual decisions for the business, while maintaining the corporate visual standards.
Productive and Responsible – Evolve actions, mind set & culture.
• Work cross functionally with all departments (marketing, operations, customer insight, etc.) to understand key investments, brand initiatives etc and communicate effectively to all wholesale accounts.
• Ensure all merchandise, mannequins and props are accounted and cared for appropriately, and any issues concerning lighting or fixtures is escalated and communicated promptly.
• In partnership with wholesale visual team, collate photographic requests to the Corporate wholesale team.
Famous for Product - Prioritize quality, innovation & provenance.
• Organize and coordinate Visual Merchandising training sessions in line with brand expectations.
• Instill accountability in the account teams to maintain visual standards throughout the day.
• Understand specific regional nuances and suggest visual adaptions based on local clients.
• Be creative and put forward visual ideas and suggestions.
PERSONAL PROFILE
• Comprehensive understanding of Visual Merchandising (5-10 years visual merchandising experience preferably with a high-end luxury brand).
• Experience in coordinating and installing window installations, be able to use hand-and-power operated tools, climb a ladder, and have the ability to lift clothing, props, mannequins etc’.
• Flexibility to work a Retail schedule including working late nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays when required.
• Travel to other stores will be required.
• Confident, with exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and problem-solve.
• Strong attention to detail and the passion to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Creative suites.
