MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Description:
We are looking for a seasoned Trade Marketing Manager for Latam Export Color Cosmetics/Nail Care Business to lead the growth and development of the Color Cosmetics/Nail Care brands (3) across our 18 distributor markets. He/she will be responsible for setting the brand’s strategic vision in Latam Export countries. He/she will be the drive behind the success of the initiative launches, which he/she has overseen throughout the entire process. He/she will be responsible for the effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the organization. The individual will be responsible for planning, forecasting and analyzing the Color Cosmetics/Nail Care business, thus proceeding with business recommendations relevant to the overall growth of the category. He/she is extremely versatile and knows his/her market and consumers better than anyone else. He/she mobilizes his/her team and inspires their involvement in the product process.
This position is a fast paced, customer-focused marketing delivery role. In this role you will work with distributor teams to deliver best in class marketing strategies across Color Cosmetics/Nail Care Brands that not only drive base business and new product growth but also elevate the brand equities of our respective brands. You should have a desire to grow both Marketing and Customer Relationship capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and oversee execution of trade marketing strategies (4Ps) for Sally Hansen, Risque and Rimmel in Latam Export countries that deliver short and long term business goals
◦ Distribution: continuous tracking of top 15 skus distribution opportunities. Timely communication of adds & deletes to ensure business flow
◦ Shelving: participate in planogram development and ensure implementation of relevant global strategies
◦ Pricing: track pricing activity vs. key competitors and evaluation of promotional opportunities by country.
◦ Merchandising: coordinate production waves for color charts, gwps, etc.
• Become an expert resource for the Color Cosmetics/Nail Care business. Develop collaborative relationships with top distributor marketing teams in order to influence marketing choices and priorities.
• Own the business. Understand the sales trends, customer trends, and all the elements affecting the business to drive efficient and effective allocation of resources. Quarterly update the leadership on business results and actions taken.
• Collaborate with Global Marketing teams to influence and provide actionable fit-to-win feedback on upcoming initiatives/ new product launches, including forecast submissions.
• Manage the Trade Marketing budget, identifying both risks and opportunities for management.
• Lead creative execution for all marketing adaptation materials (Digital, In-Store, CRM etc.) including briefing and creative feedback with agencies/ vendor partners.
• Lead media briefs, on-going development of media plans and tracking of effectiveness. Continuously ensure 100% alignment and synchronization between regional ATL activities and BTL executions from distributors.
Application Pre-Requisites:
• 4-year undergraduate Degree, or equivalent, MBA Preferred
• 5+ year’s professional experience in a sales/marketing environment. Beauty Industry experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Highly detailed with strong organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient computer knowledge: Microsoft Office, Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
