The Technical Product Manager will be responsible leading or supporting all technology related digital projects across the five ecommerce brands. They will work between the brand teams, vendor and the Cornerstone Development team to author detailed business requirements, conduct technical reviews, and work with the QA team to properly test the functionality. The responsibilities will also include executing the third party tooling work, tagging, A/B Testing, campaign management and defect management with external vendors. They will be the point person for managing and troubleshooting issues with third party vendors on a daily basis.
This individual should be a highly motivated and passionate person who will excel in a fast-paced Digital Commerce team. Technical Product Managers also meet with prospect and current vendors to make sure the product meets their needs and learn their process and tools that will be under Cornerstone control. They will help optimize the development process and help execute on tooling tasks. Responsibilities will also include gathering user input to prioritize requirements, review and execute correct implementation, and help with training tasks for the brand teams.
A Day in the Life
• Gather detailed business requirements from five ecommerce business units
• Develop the execution strategy and project plan
• Write detailed functional specs and user stories
• Develop interaction diagrams as needed
• During development, negotiate scope and proactively address problems
• Partner with developers on major projects
• Work with third party vendors and brand teams to manage, prioritize and execute defect remediation
• Responsible for setting up, tracking and reporting on requested A/B tests with third party vendor
• Implement requested tags using third party tag management tool
• Partner with Digital Product Managers to understand any tagging needs or A/B tests needed for new projects or features
• Partner with Digital Platform Engineering team and Release Manager on tasks needing to be coordinated with releases
• Partner with Development team to understand functionality and implementation for future troubleshooting – especially on third party integration projects
• Follow and execute on all concrete deadlines for all technical project milestones and deliverables
• Work with five eCommerce units to execute or assist on any tasks involving a third party in project requirements
• Perform ongoing analysis and reporting of active A/B tests as needed. Make recommendations for enhancements based on these analyses
• Partner with Digital Analytics Manager for any reporting needs including A/B test results
• Contribute to the RFP process of new vendors
• Lead cross-brand focus groups for specific site areas or vendor related functions
• Contribute to new process development for better workflows

Must Haves
• Minimum 5+ years of Product Management/Business Analyst experience in the Internet or a related technology field
• Minimum 5 years of managing projects of a technical nature
• Bachelor's Degree in related field
• Strong understanding of software development cycle
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
• Creative thinker who is adaptable and a pragmatic problem solver
• Exposure to Online Marketing Concepts
• Experience with Web Analytics packages
• Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Understanding of A/B tests; how to set up, measure and report
• Working experience in an Agile and Waterfall environment
• Dedicated team player who is both self-directed and willing to multi-task on various projects
Candidates will be considered in totality of their skills and experience versus strict interpretation of “must haves.”
